ALL ENGINEERING (Kyiv) which is NIBULON’s long-standing and reliable partner during many years and which specialists participated in constructing NIBULON’s facilities is a main contractor at the facility. The main items at the facility, according to the project, that will ensure technological processes with grain, leguminous and oil cargoes (transshipment, storage and shipment on railway transport) are the following:
– 8 grain storages of 500 tons each;
– an elevator tower;
– a unit with a dump pit to unload road transport;
– truck scales;
– an underground conveyor gallery from the unit of truck unloading to an elevator tower and a ground transport line from an elevator tower to the hoppers for loading on railway transport;
– administration and amenity rooms with a laboratory;
– railroad.
The new facility with an annual capacity of 33.5 thousand tons to be used to receive and ship products on railroad from other NIBULON’s branches will not only provide complete automation of production process but also increase NIBULON’s storage. In addition to it, the proximity of the grain trader to agricultural producers will reduce farmers’ expenses for agricultural commodity selling; thus, enabling the farmers to increase profitability of their activities and create conditions to improve agricultural commodity production in the region.
We would remind you that in order to improve and optimize cargo transportation logistics, at the end of June, NIBULON purchased new hopper cars for grain with the weight-carrying capacity of 70.5 tons produced by KARPATY Experimental Mechanical Plant. The employees of “Smotrych” branch (Khmelnytskyi region) were the first to appreciate hopper cars. NIBULON’s modern complexes for receipt and shipment are capable of loading hopper cars efficiently; thus, it takes the company three days to perform a cycle, while others use them 3-4 times less efficiently. According to the company’s management, the hopper cars mustn’t be just storage on the road but a facility to deliver products efficiently.
