Kherson Students Want to Work on Board NIBULON’s Vessels

NIBULON’s General Director Oleksiy Vadaturskyy, Deputy General Director of Fleet Construction, Fleet Operation and Navigation Safety Andriy Volik, Deputy General Director of Personnel Larysa Buryk, and head of personnel department Olga Romadina met with teachers and students. They discussed the employment and practical training at NIBULON’s shipping company.
The students familiarized themselves with NIBULON’s fleet. The guests went aboard the vessels of different projects. In particular, the captain at NIBULON MAX 140-m self-propelled floating vessel personally greeted his future colleagues and demonstrated the vessel’s capacities. They sat in the captain’s chair and observed control panel on board NIBULON-100 and NIBULON-101 docking tugs.
The students also visited the transshipment terminal for grain and oilseeds shipments, and NIBULON’s specialists told about grain processing on the way to its exports. They visited NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard, where they managed to see modern production workshops with qualitative equipment produced by the leading manufacturers as well as main stages of the vessel construction: from metal cutting to preparatory operations to launch a vessel. The students were impressed by the shipyard’s condition, when it was purchased in 2012 and its current view. According to them, it is really an impressive result.
During the meeting, the students asked questions about the development of such a successful company. Oleksiy Vadaturskyy told the guests about NIBULON’s history and explained the reasons for being engaged in shipbuilding. He stressed that the company closely works with foreign investors.  Due to their support, NIBULON implements investment projects. He mentioned that NIBULON is a Ukrainian company developing its business responsibly, transparently and within the legal framework. This is the way to achieve the All-Ukrainian and world level. He added, “We create our own destiny. You will be developing our beautiful country. I try to help you, sharing my ideas. You must remember that Ukraine’s future depends on you”.
The students were excited by the communication with NIBULON’s General Director as well as the company. The visitors were really inspired by the things they saw here. At the end of the meeting, the youth enthusiastically shared their impressions,
“The excursion was held on a high level. NIBULON MAX is a first-class vessel with modern equipment and comfortable working and living conditions for the crew. I have no words to describe the transshipment terminal. The greenery and fountains at the industrial facility are impressive. The meeting with NIBULON’s General Director was great. His words inspire. I heard how NIBULON was created, and I can see its development level today. I realize that it is possible to achieve this by hard work. Oleksiy Vadaturskyy put much effort to construct these facilities. I like everything here and want to work for NIBULON in future”, tells a third-year student Mykyta Moroz.
“Today we have had an excursion at NIBULON. Soon I will have a practical training. NIBULON is a place where I want to undergo it. Everything is modern here as well as at other NIBULON’s facilities. Oleksiy Vadaturskyy is a very decent person. It was very interesting to communicate with him. As a recollection about today’s day, he signed my cap and told me to take it, when I decide to get a job at NIBULON. I am going to do it. It is an honour for me. I would like to work for NIBULON in future in order to adopt experience and work in comfortable conditions”, shares a student Makhmut Mamedov.
“We are grateful to NIBULON for inviting us for an excursion. Having met Oleksiy Vadaturskyy in our educational institution, we realized that he is a generous man. The old shipyard’s pictures taken in 2012 and its current view with modern workshops and active vessel construction is a powerful motivation for every student to graduate from college and start working as a seaman. I went onboard many vessels, but NIBULON MAX pleasantly surprised me. Really, NIBULON constructed this vessel qualitatively and responsibly. It is good to realize that these vessels are built in Ukraine and not abroad. I am sure that it is not the last NIBULON’s vessel. The students are very inspired and ask about practical training at NIBULON. I hope we will be able to do everything to cooperate with NIBULON in future”, summarizes Roman Negrutsa, a deputy head of education and production training at college.
