On October 22, 2012 the students of Mykolayiv National Agrarian University visited “NIBULON”. The third-year students of the department of production technology and livestock products processing, sterilization and biotechnology visited the transshipment terminal on shipment of grain and oil crops. It was their first acquaintance with the transshipment terminal and the company. Therefore, they kept in mind everything they saw and every word of the company’s specialists. During the excursion the future technologists familiarized themselves with the whole production scheme of the terminal – from truck arrival, sampling, weighting to grain shipment to a vessel. The modern laboratory and administrative building was also introduced to the guests. “It is extremely important for us to observe processes of grain analysis. At the terminal we managed to see the equipment used by “NIBULON”, its operation and the standards used by the company. Most equipment is new for us, we did not have a chance to see analogous equipment during practical trainings or other excursions. We have heard of a laboratory for GMO determination at your terminal. Today we have become familiar with it”, noted Anna Katerynych, student of group Т 3/1. The visitors could not but notice a unique landscape design introduced at the terminal. According to them the number and variety of green plantations create an effect of a comfortable park – under such conditions it is more pleasant to work at the terminal. According to Olena Kravchenko, the associate professor of the department of genetics, animals feeding and biotechnology, the students got an opportunity to become familiar with the transshipment terminal, principles of its operation. As at present most third-year students think of their first work place. Our guests promised to make a wall newspaper – to remember our wonderful meeting.
