Today “NIBULON”, one of the leaders of the Ukrainian agrarian market, continues to develop in many directions implementing its large-scale investment project and developing new activities. It is a result of work of highly qualified professionals, their responsible approach to a common business, constant striving for improvement and development. Involvement of talented youth and young leaders is one of the main principles of the company’s personnel policy. Young people, due to their talent and commitment, introduce new ideas into the agribusiness development.  The implementation of the above mentioned principle provides for creation of a stable foundation to develop the Ukrainian agrarian sector. Implementing such an approach to find new employees, “NIBULON” cooperates with 38 Ukrainian institutes of higher education. One of the key directions in the company’s activity is a work with agricultural products – growth, storage and bringing them to merchantable conditions, trade, etc. Consequently, such specialists as technologists in grain storage and processing, engineers of elevator industry, specialists in automated management systems, economists, and accountants are in great demand. Such professional experts, working for “NIBULON”, are the graduates of Odesa National Academy of Food Technologies (ONAFT) mostly. For more than hundred years ONAFT trains highly qualified specialists to work in the food and grain processing sectors. At present it is one of the biggest and powerful educational institutions in Ukraine. During its existence more than 65 thousand of specialists 2 thousand of which are the citizens of 75 countries of the world have graduated from ONAFT! In 2005 “NIBULON” commenced cooperation with this educational institution – in the meantime more than 130 graduates got a job in “NIBULON”. As a mark of respect General Director of “NIBULON”, Hero of Ukraine, graduate of 1971 Oleksiy Vadaturskyy was invited to celebrate the 110th anniversary of ONAFT on October 19, 2012. The anniversary celebration was started with the scientific council meeting in Odesa National Academy of Food Technologies. Professor, Doctor of Engineering, Rector Bogdan Yegorov told about ONAFT rich history and a long way of its formation – from a school of millers to an academy. “Our most important achievement is graduates who glorified our academy by their spirit and self-denying work. And our key achievement is that during 110 years an educational process was never interrupted despite all cataclysms appeared in the country and society”, mentioned he. After numerous congratulations, presents and awards for special achievements of the teachers and students there were held the festivities at V.Vasyl’ko Odesa Academic Ukrainian Music and Drama Theatre. The best representatives of the agrarian sector gathered there. A lot of pleasant words were said by the graduates most of whom are the leading specialists and managers of food and grain processing sectors. Addressing to the guests, ONAFT staff and its graduates, Oleksiy Vadaturskyy mentioned ONAFT is famous for its deeds, scientists, graduates and contributes to Ukraine’s development. 110 years is a venerable age that can be reached only by eating wholesome food. Only ONAFT staff knows about it absolutely everything. ONAFT graduates constitute a considerable part of “NIBULON’s” staff – using their young energy, persistence, ability to make non-standard decisions, they ensure continuous development of the company defending its stability and progress of its activities. On completion of his speech, General Director of “NIBULON” gave Bogdan Yegorov, ONAFT rector, a certificate for laboratory and computer equipment, furniture at the cost of UAH 1 mln in order to complete with four laboratories of the departments of computer-aided manufacturing and grain storage technology. New modernized laboratories, equipped with the state-of-the-art equipment, will improve educational process qualitatively, modernize it, and assist in popularization of the educational institution. Profession of a food industry worker is one of the most important on the planet. Despite scientific and technical progress, a human cannot do without air and food in the next thousand years. Providing with foodstuffs is a guarantee of Ukraine’s food security, nation’s health and prosperity. “NIBULON” congratulates Odesa National Academy of Food Technologies on the 110th anniversary!
