Mykolayiv region is native for “NIBULON”, it constantly feels care of the company that includes a systematic assistance to medical and educational institutions, publishing books and charity. Social responsibility is one of the key principles of our business activity. Today “NIBULON” is one of a few companies in Ukraine, which is mindful of the dignity and respects the principles of social responsibility.
In 2001, a Center of reintegration of homeless people for up to 50 people was opened in our city by the decision of Mykolayiv city council. In 2011, heating and lodging station for homeless people was opened at the Center. Disabled people and other individuals who need additional care also find protective shelter there.
Activity of the Centre contributes to:
– restoration of forfeit rights and return to independent, fulfilling life of homeless people and those who were released from places of detention;
– provides an opportunity to exercise their rights guaranteed by the Constitution of Ukraine – to enrich Ukrainian society with democracy.
Since its existence the Center solves several problems with its activities:
– provision of housing;
– provision of medical care;
– provision of food and clothing;
– reissuance;
– legal assistance etc.
Currently, the Center provided assistance to 1851 citizens, 1084 of them returned to normal life.
Activity of the Center is financed from the city budget and at the expense of the charity. Each unindifferent person may help to those helpless citizens of Mykolayiv.
“NIBULON” does not remain aloof the problems of its countrymen and supports the initiative of local authorities. The Center for the reintegration of homeless people has received a gift from the company, a tasty and nutritional assistance – 1000 kg of first grade flour.
This flour, which is a versatile food, can diversify the food ration of the Center’s people under care. Although its main purpose is bread baking, it can be used for baking pancakes and pies, for cooking potstickers, bakery, confectionery etc. Also you can use flour for breading of fish or chops.
Flour is rich in carbohydrates, useful substances (calcium, magnesium, phosphorus) and vitamins (PP, B ¹, B ²). By the way, the daily rate of food for a person under care of the Center is 3331 kilocalories. Flour has a key place in the diet, one person should eat 600 g of its products per day. Therefore, 1000 kg will provide daily rate to1666 helpless citizens!
“Now there are 80 (!) citizens in our Center, and 107 people in heating and lodging station. We lack budget funds. The cost of food per person a day is UAH 7.5, including UAH 5 -charitable funds. Therefore, flour provided by “NIBULON” will contribute to the improvement and diversification of food for our care recipients. We will cook bakery and confectionery: bread, donuts, bagels, dumplings etc,” director of the Center Vostrikova Olga said.
Our society today has many social problems, budget funding is not able to solve them completely. Therefore, every citizen, every business by its own example, worthy deed can prove that in our community universal values ​​such as compassion, morality and honesty dominate.
