On the 10th of July there were thrashed 64% of early crops in the south branches of our company and it is 7800 hectares. There were thrashed more than 30 thousand tons of cereals.    Harvesting of winter barley is completed in “Kamenets’-Podil’s’ka” branch. Crop capacity is 48,5 centners per hectare in this branch.    On the 9th of July we started harvesting in the branches of Lugans’k region. The first results gladden. On average crop capacity of winter wheat is 55 centners per hectare. Today in general our company gathered nearly 95% of winter barley, nearly 20% of winter wheat and 30% of spring barley and thrashed 32% of grain crops. In Cherkasy and Vinnytsya regions harvesting has not started yet and in Mykolayiv region we plan to complete harvesting till the middle of the month.    “Snigurivs’ka” branch is a leader of this year crop; today it is gathered 54% of winter crop, average crop capacity on separate fields is more than 54 centners per hectare, on separate fields it exceeds 60 centners per hectare. It is too early to talk about leaders in Lugans’k region, harvest only started there. Most of branches are harvesting actively that is why figures often change. At the end of the week in branches of Mykolayiv region there will be mass travel of machinery to the north and east regions.       Sown areas of the company and the structure of winter crops are growing, that is why while harvesting we are intensively carrying out works on preparation areas on sowing for 2009. In our zone after harvest, it has been already tilled nearly 50% of area and it is nearly 3500 hectares. It is carried out hulling of stubble, these works are directing to non-admission of moisture loss from crop areas, provocation of emergence of weeds and disking of winter tillage.    Simultaneously with harvest, preparation of soil we are preparing seeds of our own production for next year. Altogether we plan to prepare nearly 3 thousand tons of conditioned seeds of winter wheat of high reproductions and nearly 2 thousand tons of seeds of winter barley for sowing and sale in 2008-2009. We negotiate with producers of elite seeds for execution of sort change and sort renovation in the branches of the company.
