Agrarians from Dnipropetrovsk region and the north of Kherson region have been waiting for the transshipment terminal in Marianske village for more than 12 years. All the advantages of coopering with NIBULON are now available to them, namely fair market prices for agricultural commodities in the region, the reduction of costs paid for grain transportation and more efficient use of their own trucks by reducing the distance to deliver their products. They will not have to transport grain to Mykolaiv and Odesa ports, overcoming hundreds of kilometers.  NIBULON’s partners will be able to develop their own farm businesses from the money saved on product transportation. Due to modern equipment supplied by world leading manufacturers and automated processes at the facility, the trucks are handled quickly. Thus, the drivers do not have to stand in queues.According to the Zelenodolska branch director, Yaroslav Stratutsa, the facility has already received more than 6 thousand tons of barley, wheat, and rapeseed, having removed more than 250 trucks from the highways. Agrarians from Apostolove, Sophiivka, Nikopol, Kryvyi Rih districts (Dnipropetrovsk region) and Novovorontsovka district (Kherson region) transport grain to the terminal. The branch is now signing contracts with new farmers.  Please note that the terminal’s capacity allows it to receive up to 400 trucks per day, to dry 3.6 thousand tons and to ship 12 thousand tons of grain by water transport. The terminal’s storage capacity is 76 thousand tons of agricultural commodities simultaneously. Zelenodolska branch can also receive 300 thousand tons of grain annually, thereby removing 12.5 thousand trucks from intraregional and interregional highways in the country. Thus, both agricultural commodity producers and local citizens from Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions as well as from the port cities in Ukraine will feel the benefits of the facility’s operation. Agricultural producers have access to the modern grain market infrastructure due to NIBULON’s facility in Dnipropetrovsk region.
