“NIBULON” and SJV “Wadan Yards Okean” signed the protocol about taking effect of contracts for construction of non-propelled dry double-holded vessels of mixed navigation (river-sea) aimed to transport both general and bulk cargoes. On the solemn ceremony there were present the governor of Mykolayiv region O.M. Garkusha, the deputy Minister of agrarian policy of Ukraine O.O. Shevchenko, the mayor of Mykolayiv V.D. Chaika,  the general director of  SJV “Wadan Yards Okean”, the Hero of Ukraine M.P. Romanchuk,  the general director of Ukrainian agrarian confederation S.V. Stoyanov,  the heads of departments of “ Ukrainian Export Import Bank” Kyiv I.Kh.Usmanov and M.M.Butsko, the head of administration of Zavods’kyy district of Mykolayiv V.G. Klymenko, the head of administration of Korabel’nyy district of Mykolayiv V.I. Ustenko, the deputy governor of Mykolayiv regional state administration V.I. Travyanko, the first deputy general director of the Ship Register of Ukraine S.E.Fadyeyev, the director of the project company “Torola design group” O.O. Bogorodyts’kyy. The governor of Mykolayiv region O.M. Garkusha told about the great meaning of this event for the region and Ukraine. He pointed out some positive issues. First of all, – he mentioned, – this is almost the only sample of investment project made by Ukrainian company into development of another Ukrainian company, into development of Ukrainian shipbuilding. Second, we have a unique chance to solve the eternal problem of corn selling. “NIBULON” is going to offer Ukrainian commodity producers priсes like in Ukrainian marine ports; moreover they won’t spend extra money for transportation. Simultaneously we solve the issue of shipping not only from the Black Sea near shore zone, but also from the very heart of Ukraine, mainland, like Poltava, Cherkasy regions and all the rest downstream the Dniper. “NIBULON” is a standard-bearer not only in agrarian sector, but also in Ukrainian economics and with all its deeds company shows that one can and should work despite the crisis.  The general director of “Wadan Yards Okean”, the hero of Ukraine Mykola Romanchuk mentioned that such a contract is very attractive piece for the plant. For a year 50% of the “Wadan Yards Okean” stuff will be engaged in barges construction. The rapid pace of the project is really pleasing. On April, 15 we will receive shipbuilding steel and mid May we will start the contraction of four barges for “NIBULON” at a time. We plan to pass the vessels to the customer in August 2009. In such a way, “NIBULON” is going to have its own transport for river shipping till the new crop.             The Deputy Minister of agrarian policy of Ukraine Oleksandr Shevchenko called our company “a trendsetter” in agrarian sector. In time when some of the commodity producers only start thinking about new crop, “NIBULON” is few steps ahead and thinks not only about the new crop, but also considers the high temps of grains transportations. Project managers, commodity producers, steel suppliers, shipbuilders – all of them are going to have their profits due to this project. Therefore the “NIBULON caravan” is going to buck things up by the entire segment of Ukrainian economy.
