Pollution and the depletion of natural resources, which lead to climate change, are one of the most urgent problems nowadays. Recently, people worldwide have started to think about the environment preservation, the rational use of natural resources and their renewal. Since NIBULON commenced its operations, environment preservation and protection problems have been one of the company’s top priority tasks.As usual, NIBULON demonstrates a comprehensive approach. Thus, the company uses modern environment protection technologies at all its facilities, “green” projects, as well as efficient management decisions to implement energy-saving technologies, the large-scale investment project to redirect cargo transportation to water transport (the environmentally friendly one), as well as renewal measures to prevent natural resources depletion.  The all-Ukrainian spring planting of greenery, initiated by the company at its own facilities in different regions of Ukraine, has become NIBULON’s new environmental project. The event was organized to support the all-Ukrainian “Greenery of Ukraine” project. The company annually plants trees. Planting greenery is the most efficient way to prevent the global warming. At the beginning of March 2020, NIBULON’s branches located in Mykolaiv city, and Mykolaiv, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Poltava, Khmelnytskyi, Zhytomyr, Luhansk regions planted about 1,200 saplings of trees, bushes, and flowers, worth more than UAH 160 thousand. “As NIBULON’s environment preservation activities are continuous, this is not the last initiative. Having finished building the Ternivska branch transshipment terminal last year, the company planted 862 saplings of ornamental and fruit trees, as well as 116 rose bushes in Ternivka village (Zaporizhzhia region). In autumn 2020, the company plans to plant greenery and to landscape a 5.4 ha territory at the new transshipment terminal in Marianske village (Apostolove district, Dnipropetrovsk region). The company will plant 350 tree saplings and 2,500 bush saplings, lawns, and flowerbeds. In order to implement greenery plans, NIBULON will allocate UAH 1.5 million”, tells Alla Izmesteva, a head of NIBULON’s environmental protection department. NIBULON annually allocates considerable financial resources to protect the environment, planting ornamental and fruit trees, as well as bushes. The company’s branches arrange green and rest spaces. Sometimes they even hold contests for the best green area. All the green spaces are beautiful, thereby drawing the attention of our partners and guests. Please remember that every tree is a contribution to the future of the entire world and a step forward to overcome an environmental crisis. Our planet is in extreme needs of such actions now. While someone is only planning, NIBULON is acting. The company has planted 29,000 trees and bushes.
