The transshipment terminal of “Kozats’ka” branch, the first “NIBULON’s” facility in Kherson region is being built on the picturesque banks of the Dnipro River, around beautiful landscapes. Perhaps partly because of this, every production meeting at the facility is always conducted in a mode of professional dialogue and is full of friendly smiles. On May 11, specialists of “NIBULON” headed by Sergiy Besedin, Deputy General Director for сonstruction, met with the leaders of contractors that work at the facility. They are 30 organizations! They discussed all the pressing issues of construction, problems, adjusted work schedule. “Mykolayiv concrete products plant” has completed piles supply to the site, thus works on arrangement of piled fields now are almost finished. In connection with the start of upper galleries installation, Sergiy Besedin, Deputy General Director for сonstruction of “NIBULON” drew partners’ attention that these works should be accorded with other organizations, to make sure that there are no people in the galleries during installation. He noted, “Gallery and its installation cost a lot of money, but a person’s life is priceless”. On May 14 specialists, who will carry out finishing works in the shipping company’s building arrived at the site. Similar works are already carried out in industrial workshops. Volodymyr Ivashchenko, foreman of “Dniprostroy” said, “Our team comes from Kakhovka town. We build workshops in Kozats’ke village. We carry out decorating works, masonry, flooring. Now we start installing metal-plastic windows. Window area is 80 square meters. We work with “NIBULON” for the first time and hope that not the last”. On May 15 equipment for installation in an elevator tower will be delivered, including surface traversers. “Olesya” company should accelerate installation of the tower circles for equipment installation, after that cutting holes for the equipment, installation of kick plate, siding, etc.will be carried out. Works on construction of dryer foundations will be performed by “Donbasatomenergomontazh” organization. The organization’s management received an order to speed up execution of necessary documentation as soon as possible to start work. Works on the berth construction became more active at the terminal. Oleksandr Dyachenko, installer foreman from “Gidrotehnologiyi” company said, “Our task is to build berthing facilities qualitatively and on time. The schedule is tight, we have one month sharply, but we will not fail. There will be the berth in Kozats’ke village! We arrived to the terminal a few days ago. We have prepared equipment and already start working. Now we pioneer for groove pilling. Then we will build the berth itself, encase in concrete, mount a railway track for ship loading machines etc.” We remind that a unique berthing facilities with a length of 315 m, which includes cargo berth (105 m) and berthing dolphins (210 m) will be built in “Kozats’ka” branch. This will allow tying up three (!) non-self-propelled vessels «NBL» (each has a length of 90 m). Finally, Sergiy Besedin reminded that the project of water drawdown will be implemented on-site and called on contractors, who have experience of such works, to participate in open tender. The project of water drawdown restrains the beginning of a series of works, such as: construction of concrete roads, laying of internal networks, installation of plumbing, site improvement.
