Works on the implementation of shipbuilding orders of NIBULONon shipbuilding yard“Wadan Yards Okean” are being continued. Friendly visits of the plant by company representatives are also being continued. Representatives of NIBULON get familiar with the construction and exchange views – in short, they develop cooperation.
We make you aware of the course of business on construction of NIBULONnonself-propelled vessels.
The construction of the last two (serial numbers 169, 170) out of 16 vessels are at the finish, contracts on the construction of these vessels were signed on the 6th of March, 2009. Works on the construction of the next eight non-self-propelled vessels have been continued (according to the contracts signed on the 3rd of December, 2009).
The construction of vessels on the contracts from the 6th of March, 2009:
Orders №№169, 170: hull works and installation of deck equipment are completed, painting works are at the finish, testing works are started.
The construction of vessels on the contracts from the 3rd of December, 2009:
Orders №№ 175, 176: metal cutting is being continued, subassembling is being performed.
Orders №№ 177-178: metal cutting is being performed; collecting of components for embedding of sections is started.
*** In fact, the better part of the works is performed outdoors in adverse weather conditions – and is performed ahead of schedule, that fact once again demonstrates the reliability of such a partner as OJSC “Wadan Yards Okean”. It is worth mentioning that according to the contracts signed on the 3rd of December, 2009, eight new vessels for the company had to be transferred by the end of April. But workers of OJSC “Wadan Yards Okean” incured obligations to transfer the vessel to the customer ahead of schedule! And there is no doubt in their words!
