Fabrication
At the shipyard there have been completed assembly and welding works on port sections No10 and No30, port section No40 and on unit No50. All the sections have been approved by NIBULON’s representatives.
At present assembly and welding works on starboard section No30 are being completed. It will be approved by the customer next week.
At the same time leakage test of welded joints on the approved sections and units is being continued.
Hull formation in dock
The Romanian shipbuilders have constructed unit No20. Welding of erection joint between starboard sections No10 and No20 and section No 20 has been started.
Painting
The shipbuilders completed cleaning (blasting) and at present painting on port section No30 is being continued. Unit No70 (crane pillar) has been painted; the priming coat was put on unit No50 (aft superstructure).
Pipelines, systems, machinery, equipment
The customer has approved assembly of welding outfit of pipelines in starboard sections No20 and No30 and in port section No40.
Assembly of equipment in the engine room is being continued: installation of pumps, auxiliary diesel-generators, main switchboard.
On the main deck there is performed installation of mooring equipment.
Procurement of equipment
for the floating crane is performed by 90%. Among the latest deliveries are pilot control console, grabs, and life-saving rafts.
