There is a photo report about status of St.Mykolai floating crane construction of NB603 manufacturing order.
At present the shipyard specialists have completed the subassembly.
Port section No20 has been painted and placed in a dry dock. By the way, painting is performed in the shipyard paint shops after approval of the sections. It considerably reduces the amount of further painting in the dry dock.
Thus, in the dry dock there has been started enlargement of starboard section No20, port section No20 and unit No20.
Assembly and welding works on starboard section No10, starboard section No40 and on unit No60 (bow superstructure) are being completed. Next week they will be approved by NIBULON’s representatives.
Assembly and welding works are actively being continued on other sections and units of the floating crane. The last sections will have been delivered by the end of February.
Procurement of equipment for the floating crane is in the final stage. NIBULON has already supplied 88% of the total equipment.
