Adverse weather conditions, including severe frost do not hamper the professionals of Mykolayiv shipyard “Okean” – «NIBULON-4» tug is being built day by day, changing its “appearance” and thus showing the speed of work completion. More than 90 specialists (workers of “Okean” and contractors) are currently involved in execution of the order. The work is being performed on a continuous basis to be in time and to provide the vessel to the customer in a timely way. We can assure you that in early February, the vessel will be launched according to the schedule and floated out of the dry dock for the final finishing construction work. After the completion of the construction, the tug together with the previous one, «NIBULON-3» (in reference to which documents of acceptance-transfer are currently executed) will become the part of “NIBULON’s” own fleet. It means that the volume of water transportations in the amount of 1 million tons is an absolutely real and accomplished figure for the company and it will be achieved, we should only wait for the beginning of navigation on the Ukrainian rivers. Thus, work on the vessel is being continued according to the schedule, it is performed by partners-contractors: Specialists of Ltd. «Yug Antikor» perform painting work despite the cold weather and working outdoors, professionals of Ltd. «ISD» proceed to insulation work and concreting of the floors in buildings; partners of Ltd. «Alewijnse» have already completed an installation of electrowelded attachments and prepare for laying and driving apart electric cable. The status of the construction of «NIBULON-4» tug is now the following: fender protection is installed on the vessel; installation of marine systems is being continued; main equipment is loaded into the tug (including main and auxiliary engines, boiler, compressor), a diesel generator and a ship`s air conditioner are prepared for loading; deck equipment is installed, including anchor and pulling winches, windlasses; indoors vessel spaces are prepared for painting, their preparations for the start of insulation work and filling floors with concrete are being continued, the main switchboard is already on the tug.
