Construction of a series of tugs of “POSS-115” project on order of “NIBULON” is being continued at Mykolayiv shipbuilding yard “Okean”. The third and the fourth tugs of the series are currently in dry dock, in particular, for the third tugkeel was laid on 19.10.2010, under the auspices and with participation of the Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov. In a view of the current situation at the shipbuilding yard “Okean” (permanent change of management), orders are not made on time. We understand the situation. We hope that the new management will really deal with the organization of work at the yard. We in turn will do everything possible to assist the yard in the performance of the contract. The situation has led to the fact  that “NIBULON” is forced to conclude contracts directly with subcontractors (“ISD”, “Yug Antikor”, “Hladotehnika”, “Alewijnse”, “Promavtomatyka”, “Promenergoavtomatyka”, “Portservis”, “Omega”, “U-Marin”, “Liman-Mykolayiv”) and the yard’s workers, who receive salaries from “NIBULON” – to maintain production potentialof the yard of Mykolaiv, in order professionals not to leave the city in search of work. By the patriotic investment project we support the position of the President of Ukraine and the Government that our country has a great future – but already now each of us must take specific steps to achieve it. No one and nothing but we and our specific actions will provide prosperity of Ukraine. Thus, regarding the investment project of “NIBULON” in a part of construction of own towing fleet, current status is the following. The factory order № 185 (“NIBULON-3”): work on cleaning and painting of tanks is being continued; texas of the vessel is planished (corps work), equipment is loaded to the engine room, including main diesel engines, filling up of floors in premises with insulation materials is completed; preparatory work for beginning of the insulation and electrical work is being conducted. Currently 95 workers of the yard “Okean” are working on the order. The factory order № 186 (“NIBULON-4”): foundations for the main engines are set; corps congestion in blocks is being continued, corps foundations of rudder-propeller units for welding are assembled, deck equipment is installed, deck stages and guard railing equipment installation is being continued, check on designability of facilities is started, work on installation of foundations for rudder-propeller unit is being continued.
