Every year NIBULON improves its export results, and the company exported 5.21 million tons of agricultural commodities in the 2018/19 marketing year. This was achieved by the efficient operations of the St.Mykolai floating vessel in the outer roads of Mykolaiv Sea Port, which conducted about 31% of all loading and unloading operations. This represents more than 1.6 million tons of grain cargoes, which is a record result since it commenced operations.The company plans to export up to 6 million tons of grain in 2019/20 MY. Since the beginning of the marketing year, the floating vessel has already transshipped more than 1 million tons of grain cargoes.The St. Mykolai floating vessel joined NIBULON’s fleet in August 2013. The vessel was built at SNC shipyard (Constanta, Romania) to the company’s order. The vessel’s length is 52 m; its breadth is 22 m, and the maximum speed is 7 knots. The floating vessel is also equipped with a Liebherr electrohydraulic grab crane with a nominal daily capacity of up to 20 thousand tons.We would remind you that in autumn 2019, the company put into operation the NIBULON MAX floating vessel built at NIBULON’s shipyard. This vessel will increase the annual cargo transshipment fleet volumes by 2-3 million tons. The company’s four floating vessels, namely St.Mykolai and NIBULON MAX self-propelled vessels as well as Nibulonivets and Nibulonivets-2 non-self-propelled vessels, are currently operating in the outer roads of Mykolaiv Sea Port.
