Specialization of the agronomy group covers main agricultural crops and agronomy, soils and plant fertilizing, control of price risks and business-projects. The group consolidates a network of independent companies in the Western and South Australia. The goal of their visit was to become familiar with “NIBULON’s” activity, to adopt useful experience as to conducting agribusiness, including logistics development. As the company works at the model level, even for Europeans, giving preference to up-to-date technologies and leading methods of agribusiness implementation. During the excursion the guests took a view of the supermodern three-storey administrative and laboratory building which was put into operation in March 2011; observed a process of vessel loading at the transshipment terminal, familiarized with the unique logistic infrastructure. According to David John Pfeiffer, one of the guests, “NIBULON’s” activities cover agricultural production, exports, shipbuilding and navigation, construction, logistics, etc. Consequently, the company’s work is a serious experience for Australian specialists. “Particularly, we were impressed by your own fleet, non-self-propelled vessels and tugs, constructed within the investment project, which we saw on the berth. Besides, it is very interesting and topical for us, taking into account that logistics in Australia excludes water transportations, products are transported only by road”, added he.
