Improvement of logistics component in a transport shipment field is a factor of successful implementation of the patriotic investment project of “NIBULON”. This priority area is being implemented, including the participation of Swedish company «Scania», producer of trucks. Successful cooperation of “NIBULON” and Swedish company lasts more than one year. The leader of the domestic agricultural market is a regular buyer of reliable imported automotive transports. Now “heavy artillery” of “NIBULON” consists of 20 «Scania» cars. Cooperation between two powerful companies continues developing. A visit of Ukrainian company’s specialists to the car plant in Sweden has become its next stage. From April 26 till 29, 2012 Andriy Bronnikov, the head of freight transport department, and Maksym Stepanov, the chief mechanic of the department, visited «Scania» company in Södertälje (Sweden). The main purpose of their visit was a visual familiarization with production of the company and technical capabilities, power of the plant, including the process of assembling, completing units of machines etc. The meeting was initiated by Swedish company as a sign of long-term and successful cooperation and its own openness to Ukrainian partner (it is especially topical because of the last year visit of the Swedish side to the transshipment terminal in Mykolayiv city). During the visit to Sweden, “NIBULON’s” experts were accompanied by the director of «Scania» in Ukraine Andriy Dallakyan, managers and representatives of the leasing company “Scania Credit Ukraine”. An auto assembly line was demonstrated to partners from Ukraine while visiting the factory of «Scania». An interesting fact is that Swedish specialists spend 5-6 hours (!) for a truck assembling on the same conveyor, from a partial basic structure at the beginning of the conveyor to the finished car with a complete package at the outlet. Accounting of the process is completely automated, even the number of nuts screwed is counted. Experts of “NIBULON” have seen 40 (assembled in a day!) trucks of different types and different package during one day at the plant. Another interesting technical point is that every car sold by the Swedish company undergoes initial “trials” (time of duration is more than 1000 km) and subsequent computer diagnostics. Ordinary factory workers participate in the process, they are entitled to use new machinery for their own purposes, while undergoing “trials”. Also during the visit Andriy Bronnikov and Maksym Stepanov met the chief designer of the Swedish company. The experts of “NIBULON” gave him technical requirements for the development of the company’s special order – locomobiles, their purchase is a part of the company’s strategic plans in terms of logistics improving. Later, the designer provided specific engineering and technical solutions that are currently worked out by experts of “NIBULON”. Reference. Locomobile is a vehicle designed to travel both by road and rail. This vehicle is refitted with special guides or special carrier to move along the rails, can be both a tractor and a truck. Ukrainian specialists went to the company’s testing ground at the end of the working visit. The testing ground is a kind of track with a length of 3 km and a broken terrain. On the testing ground every customer before he buys equipment or even chooses a model, can test any car (track included even military vehicles of Swedish manufacturer) in action.
