NIBULON is a company of dynamic development and successful investment projects. One of NIBULON’s principles is a creative approach to search for new ideas in order to increase work efficiency and cost optimization, to constant increase of volumes and quality of agricultural commodity storage and improvement of logistics system, etc. Each component of NIBULON’s agribusiness is leading and this allows us to take the leading positions in the domestic and foreign markets. The company consists of 22 high tech elevator complexes and transshipment terminals. Developed logistics network requires search for innovative ways of its improvement. A striking example of such a task implementation is a long work of our specialists the result of which became a creation of the original computer model of the branches’ operation, a peculiar “production dialogue” – the program “Economic analysis of the branches’ operation”. The software developed by our specialists is an integral topical database of the results of NIBULON’s activity. Due to this program the analysis of the branches’ activity is performed, including by the indices of profitability and efficiency, by production volumes and gross revenue, cost circulation, prices for services, and others. The given software is absolutely unique and allows to carry out “production dialogue” among all NIBULON’s branches and the central office, to analyze work, to perform monitoring and economic planning in order to increase productivity, etc. It improves interaction among NIBULON’s branches and increases work efficiency in whole. The first results of the software use were introduced at the production meeting that was held on January 26 at the transshipment terminal in Mykolayiv city. In their speeches the directors, chief economists of the branches, summarizing the branches’ activity for the first half of 2012-13 MY, made reports focusing on the program “Economic analysis of the branches’ operation”. Thus, at the meeting taking into consideration an experience in its own program planning of activity, there were introduced the results of the elevators’ operation for the first half of 2012-2013 MY (in comparison with the analogous period of the last marketing year). Their results indicated the following: 1) NIBULON’s own elevator capacities increased by 37%; 2) amount of agricultural commodity procurement increased by 35% (read in detail about it); 3) total cargo turnover amount increased by 33%; 4) total gross revenue of the elevators rendering services increased by 63%; 5) increase of profitability was reached due to reduction of cost circulation by 3.5% and reduction of specific power consumption by 3.6%; 6) labour intensity of the main manufacturing operations reduced by 21.1% and labour productivity increased by 51.6%; 7) the best economic and production indices were achieved by the following branches: “Smotrych”, “Maryanivs’ka”, “Teteriv”, “Zolotonis’ka”, “Vitove”. The program “Economic analysis of the branches’ operation” is the next step in positive dynamics of NIBULON’s development. The first results of implementation showed efficiency of such a “production dialogue”. Thus, the company plans to develop new software, new models of monitoring and control for its other branches.
