On the 12th of March, 2010 in Gradyz’k village of Globynskyy district of Poltava region there will be a solemn ceremony of the beginning of construction of new river terminal for grains and oilseeds for river transport of “NIBULON”. Investment project is in a full swing For the team of “NIBULON” the sky is the limit. The construction of the fifth out of eight elevator complexes that are planned by company’s investment project is started. The company plans to complete the construction of the transshipment terminal in Gradyz’k village in June this year. The total land area, where the complex would be situated, is 4.1 hectares. Planned financial expenditures for the construction are more than 100 million UAH. Grain storage capacity will compile 43 thousand tons, daily capacity of dryers will comprise 4 thousand tons, and power upon the shipment of water transport will be 5 thousand tons. In the nearest time the construction of three more facilities should be started – elevators in Maryanivkaand Artemivka villages and transshipment terminal in Kremenchuk. The company plans to engage more than a hundred building companies for the construction – they are thousands of workers who get workplaces today. There will be 60 workers after putting the complex into operation. A plan of creation of company’s own fleet is being put into life in full swing. 16 non-self-propelled vessels are already constructed with deadweight of 72 thousand tons. It is a real “elevator on water”. During construction of these vessels yard used as much metal as it is used for “PANAMAX” type. These vessels will provide the operation of river terminals in Gradyz’k, Vitove, Kamyanka-Dniprovs’ka and Kremenchuk. It will allow to deliver agricultural products to the customer quickly, intermediate party will be excluded from this process and will bring the company directly to agricultural producers, the cost of agricultural production will increase by 50-70 UAH per ton. Two leaders River terminal in Gradyz’k village will be the fourth elevator complex of the company in Poltava region and the second facility of “NIBULON” in Globyne district. For the third consecutive year, “NIBULON’s” elevator of Reshetylivska branch (Reshetylivskyy district, Poltava region) takes delivery of Ukrainian commodity producers. The complex was put into operation in November, 2006. Since the beginning of the 2009-2010 marketing year, almost 130 thousand tons of grain and oilseeds were accepted at the branch. It is one of the best results in Poltava region. Two elevator complexes of “NIBULON” for receipt, storage and shipment of grain and oilseeds, which were opened on the 30th of October, 2009 within the frames of the investment project, successfully work in Globyne town and Romodan village of Myrgorodskyy region. After the implementation of Investment project, in Poltava region there will be constructed 6 powerful elevator complexes, with a total capacity of 396 thousand tons. This should satisfy the needs of Ukrainian farmers who now urgently need to increase the elevator capacities. According to the General Director of “NIBULON”, Hero of Ukraine O.
