On the 30th of April, 2010 there will be a solemn opening of “Kamyanka-Dniprovs’ka” branch of “NIBULON” (Kamyanka-Dniprovs’ka town, Zaporizhzhya region) – a new transshipment terminal on the shipment of grains and oilseeds on river transport will be held. “Kamyanka-Dniprovs’ka” branch is the first facility of the company in the region. So it has become a business card of “NIBULON” in Zaporizhzhya region. Despite the adverse winter weather conditions, terminal was built over a period of three months. During such a short period of time UAH 120 million was spent. The total area of the new branch is 8.6 hectares, grain storage capacity is 75.6 thousand tons. Daily capacity of dryers compiles 4 thousand tons, while shipment capacity on water transport is 5 thousand tons. 60 workers will ensure successful work of the river terminal. To participate in the work of the river terminal the best 45 construction companies from all over Ukraine were selected by tender. Among them there are the old and tested “NIBULON’s” partners from Mykolayiv “Zhitlobud-Niko” and “Universal”. Colleagues from other regions: “Energodarstroy”, “Akvilon”, “Valdi”, “Budivel’na kompaniya”, “Zheldorservis”, “Vagira”, “Drongo”, “Deka”, “Stel” and others joined them in the construction of the facility. As at previous facilities on the construction of the terminal in “Kamyanka-Dniprovs’ka” equipment of the company’s partner – Danish company «CIMBRIA UNIGRAIN A / S» was used. The quality of this equipment has been checked for long years of cooperation and complies with the best technical indicators: high performance – 250 tons per hour, reliable drive, compact size, correlative thickness of steel bucket and chain conveyors, easy-to-use. There was also used equipment of the best proven domestic and foreign manufacturers: «SCHMIDT-SEEGER AG» (Germany); «Mathews» (U.S.); «SIMATEK A / S» (Denmark); «RAKORAF» (Denmark); «PRECIA -MOLEN» (Belgium);« TELESTACK» (Great Britain); “SYMAGa” (Spain), “Bulat” (Ukraine) “Lord” (Ukraine), “Kalyniws’kyy mashynobudivnyy zavod” (Ukraine). Thus, company’s style is to build modern enterprises; the quality of their work will provide Ukraine with rightful place in world grain market. Ukraine is able to grow up to 70 million tons of grain, all the time of its existence “NIBULON” contributes to the recognition of our country in the world as a country who supplies excellent grain. *** The implementation of investment project is in quantum leaps. It has already received wide public recognition and in view of its economic importance, it has become the winner in national program “Man of the Year – 2009” in the nomination “Investment of the Year”. The construction of fleet is being actively continued. The company’s fleet consists of 20 non-self-propelled vessels. Three tugs – one river and two of coastal navigation have already been purchased. On the 16th of April signing the contracts on the construction of 6 tugs out of 14 planned at shipbuilding yard “Wadan Yards Okean” (Mykolayiv city) was held. Construction of elevators continues at a high rate. New high-technology river terminal “Vitove” in Chygyryns’kyy district of Cherkasy region was constructed and put into operation in record short time – within two months. Two elevator complexes were constructed at the same time and are now successfully used in Globyne town and Romodan village of Poltava region. More than 100 thousand tons of agricultural products have been harvested after putting the complexes into operation in October last year. On the 12th of March 2010, in “Gradyz’k” branch (Gradyz’k town of Globyne district) and on the 8th of April 2010, in “Artemivs’ka” branch (Artemivka village, Chutivskyy district) in Poltava region the construction of new elevators was started. The preparation work for the construction of the elevator in Maryanvka village (Grebinkivs’kyy district) and river terminal in Kremenchuk of Poltava region is being continued.    ***   Ukrainian agrarians have already felt the positive result of investment project, its value has reached more than USD 220 million. Agricultural producers will reduce freight costs and increase revenue to UAH 50 per ton by sending grain to the elevators and river terminals of “NIBULON”. Then grain is shipped along Dnipro in non-self-propelled vessels of the company and sent for export. “After we have started to implement the program, the agrarians’ income has increased by about UAH 50 per ton of grain. It means that realizing of our program at 4,5 million tons of export multiplied by UAH 50, it will be UAH 225 million of net income for agrarians who work with us” – said General Director of “NIBULON”, Hero of Ukraine Oleksiy Vadaturskyy. By the way, an interesting fact is that due to “NIBULON” the most capacious in import volume corn market in the world was opened for Ukraine, where the key player is Egypt. The national agricultural leader is one of the main suppliers. In the company’s plans is to hold a mortgage purchase of grain from farmers this year. Oleksiy Vadaturskyy adds that it will stop talks about manipulation of grain prices.             Investment activity of “NIBULON” is supported internationally. Despite the global financial crisis, the company receives financial support from such respected international financial institutions as  the World Bank and  the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development on export development programs and energy saving projects, funds for the improvement of logistics in Ukraine are devoted. The total loan amount is more than USD 150 million.             The company cooperates with big international banks, including domestic: Ukreximbank, Index Bank, foreign banks: BNP Paribas (Switzerland), Banque Cantonale Vaudoise (Switzerland), FORTIS BANK (the Netherlands), ING bank (Belgium).             Do not forget that “NIBULON” (which, incidentally, is now the only Ukrainian national grain trader) became one of the first companies in Ukraine, which received the World Bank loan.             So inceptions of “NIBULON” is a kind of “litmus test” for foreign investors, a symbol of the fact that money can be successfully invested into Ukraine and large-scale investment projects can be implemented.   ***   “NIBULON” invests in Ukraine and copes with this cost loading, because people want to work. Ukraine needs such investment projects, agricultural sector needs such new elevator complexes. There is no financial crisis for “NIBULON”!             Thus, by the 1st of July 2010, eight newly built elevators of “NIBULON”, four of them are river terminals, will operate; planned total elevator capacity will compile 1,5 million tons. Harvesting of a new crop will mark the revival of Dnipro River as the main water way of Ukraine.
