On the 14th of July, General Director of “NIBULON” Oleksiy Vadaturskyy personally visited Mykolaiv shipbuilding yard “Okean” where currently the construction of a series of “NIBULON’s” tugs of “POSS-115” project is being continued. After meeting with management of the yard Oleksiy Vadaturskyy expressed his concern that the execution of “NIBULON’s” orders is behind the schedule, and the yard does not adhere to contractual obligations: “The team of our company today provides full supply of especially sophisticated service and radio equipment on tugs and finishing the interior of cabins and indoor premises through contractors,” Oleksiy Vadaturskyy said. “Unfortunately, more and more works we have to carry out ourselves through the contractors to ensure timely fulfillment of the schedule. Today we see that the management of the yard does not keep his word. It is a very sad fact for us, but we hope that together with the experts and the management of the yard we will look for ways to speed up the completion of construction of the tugs every day. We issued a challenge for ourselves in order for tug № 183 to successfully pass all tests and be able to adequately plow the Dnipro and the Southern Bug Rivers by the end of July. I hope that we can put the orders № 184, 185 into operation by the 1st of September and № 186 by 15.09.2011. As soon as we see that the yard gets into normal rhythm of work – we will immediately give consent in metal cutting for orders №187, 188.” We would like to bring to your attention status of the construction of tugs: NIBULON-1 (order № 183 is completed) harbour testing is currently carried out according to the schedule.
