NIBULON has been successfully cooperating with the higher vocational shipbuilding school for more than five years, assisting to prepare specialists by professions, such as a hull assembler, a gas cutter, and an arc welder of automatic and semiautomatic machines.The pupils from this educational institution undergo practical training not only at NIBULON’s shipyard, but also in the shipping company, trucks and cars services from two to five times during their education period. The most important thing is that the pupils can obtain priceless knowledge and skills directly on-site. Every pupil has his own mentor who shares his experience and always assists to solve any issue. NIBULON also provides the educational institution with material and technical support. To ensure production education for electric and gas welders, NIBULON’s shipbuilders have given 3 tons of plates with thickness of 6÷10 mm and dimensions of 150*300 mm each produced from quality carbon steel. The pupils will use these plates to master their skills in welding joints, butting plates, etc. “We are grateful for NIBULON’s support. Our pupils have an opportunity not only to solidify knowledge obtained at school, but also to receive wages whilst undergoing practical training. In addition, once pupils finish school, they can get a job at NIBULON’s shipyard. NIBULON is one of the best companies we cooperate with”, says Volodymyr Humeniuk, a senior foreman. NIBULON has assisted the educational institution to solve other urgent issues. In the 2019-2020 academic year, NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard gave Mykolaiv higher vocational shipbuilding school a VDU-506 welding semiautomatic machine, a PDG-421 feed mechanism, parts for a welding machine, as well as computer equipment. The company does not ignore the domestic needs of the youth either. NIBULON purchased a refrigerator for pupils from Mykolaiv higher vocational shipbuilding school, who live in the dormitory and are from socially vulnerable categories.
