NIBULON’s strategy is based on implementation of the complex system programs. Its role in a trilateral interaction “government-society-business” the company defined long ago acting as an initiator of long-term large-scale projects. Style of NIBULON’s activity in the social sphere is purposeful implementation of its own initiatives concerning relations with workers, environment preservation, charitable activity and cooperation with the communities. Such persistence and consistency aim not at quick result but at complex, fundamental change of living standards of the Ukrainians.
Ensuring of appropriate conditions to get basic education
Since 2006 in Ukraine there has been implementing “NIBULON’s standard” project. The project aims at improving educational and cultural level of young generation and ensuring appropriate conditions of education in local and village educational institutions.
The company is thoroughly engaged in work concerning school computerization. Every year 3 sponsored schools in Mykolayiv city receive modern computerized multimedia classrooms equipped with interactive boards and software from NIBULON. In 2012 Mykolayiv school No57 received two language laboratories to study English. For the first time in Mykolayiv city there was created a language laboratory for the first formers (according to the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 20.04.2011 No462 “On Approval of the State Standard of Elementary Education”). The second language laboratory opened by NIBULON is intended for the senior pupils. In 2012 Mykolayiv schools No24 and 51 received multimedia classrooms with new modern equipment and furniture. The classrooms are equipped in such a way so that children who do not have computers at home can study after classes, prepare abstracts, search for the literature, and the school leavers can prepare for the external independent testing undergoing the trial testing.
 
 
Since 2006, for effective use of computer equipment, NIBULON has been ensuring an access to the Internet at sponsored schools. In order to work with interactive boards the teachers underwent training provided by the specialists of the Institute of Modern Education Technologies, a supplier of innovative equipment.
The company also pays particular attention to the physical health of pupils. Every year all NIBULON’s sponsored schools receive balls and sporting equipment. In 2012 NIBULON presented a gym to Mykolayiv school No57. Due to NIBULON, at this school there are football and handball groups. The teams take prize winning places and remain the best in Mykolayiv city and its region.
Besides assistance provided to the sponsored schools, in 2012 NIBULON implemented a number of charitable projects. Thus, the company purchased furniture and repaired a room for 4 persons in the dormitory of Mykolayiv vocational school.
On New Year’s Eve NIBULON presented four modern high tech laboratories to Odesa National Academy of Food Technologies.  The laboratories will give an opportunity to master methods and technologies of grain quality control and automation of processes to control elevators and other elements of grain storage process.
 
 
In Ukraine 56 schools in 12 regions are involved in “NIBULON’s standard”. It is almost 14 000 children. Educational institutions receive assistance from the company constantly: repair, purchase of computers and household appliances, furniture, sporting equipment, textbooks, catering, etc.
Assistance provided to two new sponsored schools in Chyrs’ke village (Pereyaslav-Khmel’nyts’kyy district, Kherson region) serves as an example of such a complex work.
Before putting into operation the terminal of “Pereyaslavs’ka” branch the company has repaired the building facade and inner toilets at school. The classroom of informatics was repaired and equipped: new windows, furniture and computer equipment were installed.
Due to NIBULON’s assets, at school in Kozats’ke town there were repaired a school yard, men and women toilets on two floors and a classroom of informatics. Besides, new furniture, computers and multimedia board were purchased.
NIBULON’s specialists have analyzed how systematic implementation of information and communication technologies, free access to the Internet influenced on educational activity of pupils and on professional level of teachers at sponsored schools over the last 5 years. The results testify the following:
– on average the share of overachievers increased twice at sponsored schools; the quantity of pupils with low level of educational achievements decreased;

–  the quantity of participants in local contests increased by 30-70% (if 5 years ago Mykolayiv schools No51 and 57 did not have any participants in the regional contest, at present pupils of these schools are among winners of the All-Ukrainian level);

– the quantity of pupils who got high results for their final examination has increased twice at NIBULON’s sponsored schools for the last five years;
 
– the share of teachers being familiar with modern teaching methods increased by 23% and that is almost 90% of teaching staff.

Medical services improvement
This year the company not only continues to implement a number of initiatives as to reequipment of medical institutions of Mykolayiv region but also implemented new projects in other Ukraine’s regions for the first time.
Mykolayiv regional hospital. NIBULON presented OlympasGIF-E endoscopic apparatus to its staff; in 2011 – Soleo Sono ultrasonic therapy apparatus. In January 2012 the physiotherapy department of Mykolayiv regional hospital received Soleo Galva electrotherapeutic apparatus from NIBULON. The apparatus has 6 types of treatment, five types of medical current and ultrasonic therapy that speeds up patient’s recovery.
 
Mykolayiv city children’s hospital No2. In 2010 the company allocated funds for an artificial respirator purchase. In 2012 NIBULON implemented a complex initiative as to hospital reequipment .In February there was held the infant department presentation that was repaired and equipped with modern medical devices due to the company’s funds. Besides, in order to create real domestic conditions for the children and their parents there were purchased comfortable locker-rooms where parents can leave their things, change their clothes (earlier they had to give their clothes to their relatives), a new refrigerator to keep food, there were installed new electric stoves to prepare food for children, now there are chairs and tables, new comfortable beds for the little patients and their parents, etc. The charitable event initiated by NIBULON was supported by 5 Mykolayiv newspapers, namely the Vecherniy Nikolaev, the Our Mykolayiv city, the Nikolaev News, the Ridne Prybuzhzhya, the Yuzhnaya Pravda. Due to their participation there were purchased household appliances for the hospital.
In the near future the hospital will receive a resuscitation-surgical monitor and a surgical table that were purchased for St. Nicholas Day.
   
 
Mykolayiv emergency hospital. For the past years NIBULON gave the hospital unique diagnostic and treatment equipment, unique medical equipment that allows to operate on a backbone and brain without damaging healthy tissues, surgical tables, a modern ultrasonic dissector/aspirator to conduct bloodless operations. In August, 2012 there was held a solemn presentation of new unique endoscopic equipment produced in Japan.
   
 
On New Year’s Eve of 2013 there was held a solemn opening of Poltava perinatal center which furniture was purchased by NIBULON. The peculiarity of Poltava regional perinatal center is an education and training center created on its basis to train students of medical academy and retraining of neonatologists, anesthesiologists, obstetrician-gynecologists from the whole district and other regions.
Khmel’nyts’kyy central district hospital (Vinnytsya region) received funds to reconstruct therapeutic department, and Kamyanka-Dniprovs’ka central district hospital (Khmel’nyts’kyy region) obtained funds to purchase medical equipment.
Due to NIBULON’s funds, Pereyaslav-Khmel’nyts’kyy district hospital (Kyiv region) received a blood transfusion apparatus and emergency cars, there were replaced 3 windows, a child’s room was repaired in Novoegorivka outpatient department (Bashtanka district, Mykolayiv region).
The company purposefully chose several hospitals which provide medical services to the largest number of people. The results of NIBULON’s work are implementation of modern technologies in medicine, creation of more opportunities for every Ukrainian to get quick and qualitative treatment in his native village or city.
Infrastructure development of the Ukrainian village
NIBULON’s cooperation with the local communities became a standard. Charitable assistance is provided to tens of schools, kindergartens, village clubs, medical and obstetric centers in villages and settlements where the company works. Repair of roads, lighting of central streets, constructions of stadia for pupils, social infrastructure renovation are all these tasks to be performed by NIBULON at his own expense long before the next branch starts operating fully.
In 2012 the company initiated signing of agreements for social partnership in the amount of more than UAH 1.6 mln with the village and local councils where NIBULON rents a land. In the beginning of 2012 every village council and NIBULON developed a budget to provide charitable assistance.
In the same way the company helps communities where NIBULON’s elevators and transshipment terminal are being built or operate now.
NIBULON’s activity in Kyiv and Kherson regions became an example of successful and effective cooperation as to infrastructure development.
The complex social program was implemented during the transshipment terminal construction in Pereayslav-Khmel’nyts’kyy district of Kyiv region.  Due to the funds allocated by the company to the budget of Gaishyn village council, there were repaired 3 km of road in Gaishyn village (Polova Street). Outer lighting in Chyrs’ke village (Pidgirna and Kyivs’ka Streets) was installed, roads in these streets were repaired.
Due to the funds obtained from a land plot sale under the facility construction, the village council of Kozats’ke town (Beryslav district, Kherson region) conducted a capital repair, purchased new furniture and equipment for the kindergarten. The gym has already been repaired. The local house of culture is being repaired now.
Totally, in 2012 assistance was provided to the village and settlement councils in 13 regions of Ukraine, namely repair of roads in Globyne town (Poltava region), Romodan village (Myrgorod district, Poltava region), Pervomays’k village (Svativka district, Lugans’k region), Lubentsi village (Kamyanka district, Cherkasy region); an artesian well reconstruction in Gradyz’k village (Globyno district, Poltava region); repair and purchase of furniture for schools and kindergartens in the villages Maryanivka (Grebinkivka district, Poltava region), Bystryc (Ruzhynka district, Zhytomyr region), Berezna (Ruzhynka district, Zhytomyr region), Pyatka (Chudnivka district, Zhytomyr region), Shul’ginka (Starob
