“NIBULON” starts the second stage of the investment project implementation in Kyiv region

“NIBULON” starts the revival of the Dnipro River as transport waterway of Ukraine from Kyiv region! On April 10, 2012 construction of the first transshipment terminal in Kyiv region of “Pereyaslavs`ka” branch will be started in Chyrs’ke village (Pereyaslav-Khmel’nyts’kyy district). Interaction of Kyiv administration and “NIBULON” is an example of partnership between authorities and business! This collaboration was started back in 2010 during the International Investment Forum “Integration and Partnership” in Kyiv. Investment plans of “NIBULON” to build a series of transshipment terminals and linear granaries in Kyiv region was first presented at the event. July 29, 2011 in Vyshgorod town (Kyiv region) the second investment forum of Kyiv region “Stability and growth” was held. Within the forum a memorandum “On partnership and cooperation” was signed between “NIBULON” and Kyiv Regional State Administration. This document defined the basic principles of transparent cooperation of the company and regional authorities. The terminal of “Pereyaslavs`ka” branch will be the second “NIBULON’s” facility in Kyiv region. On December 1, 2011 the solemn commissioning of a new modern elevator complex of “Denyhivs’ka” branch (Denyhivka village) was held under the guidance of the Head of Kyiv Regional State Administration Anatoliy Prysyazhnyuk. In addition, the investment project of “NIBULON” involves the construction of one more modern complex on shipment on water transport in Kyiv region in Stayky village (Kagarlyts’kyy district). Estimated cost of the facility in Chyrs’ke village amounts to more than UAH 160 million. Thus, “NIBULON” has already been investing USD 40 million in Kyiv region, out of USD 60 million planned! “These are the first steps to implement the reforms initiated by the President of Ukraine. Thus, we will get the result, which is extremely important to us today by creating the conditions for carrying out the reforms from the local level, contributing to production increases at the local level, pumping up budgets with revenues and creating more work places,” the Head of Kyiv Regional State Administration Anatoliy Prysyazhnyuk said. A modern transshipment terminal will be located on the land area of over 5 hectares. 100 employees will work at the branch. Grain storage capacity will be 75.6 thousand tons, capacity of dryers – 3 thousand tons per day. The new transshipment terminal in Chyrs’ke village will become a northern gate of “NIBULON’s” fleet. From this place agricultural products will be transported along the Dnipro River to the transshipment terminal of the company in Mykolayiv city. Loading capacity on water transport will be 10 thousand tons per day. A berth with a length of 105 m and a width of 18 meters will be built at the terminal of “Pereyaslavs`ka” branch. A shiploader and other equipment to load non-self-propelled vessels (produced by «TELESTACK», UK) with a capacity of 500 tons / hr will be installed on the berth. The latest equipment of reliable and proven partners of “NIBULON”, such as Danish company «Cimbria Unigrain A / S» (manufacturing, transport equipment) and American company «SCAFCO» (granaries) will be installed at the terminal. A modernized six-sectioned dryer «MC 3180» of American company «Mathews Company» with a capacity of about 75 tons / hour will be installed at the terminal, the technical refitting was carried out by “NIBULON’s” specialists. A great attention is paid to the environmental component within the frames of the investment project implementation. A dust-cleaning equipment of top world level will be used in aspiration systems to purify air, such as filters of Danish company “Simatek” and German company “Schmidt-Seeger”. This equipment is so highly efficient that reduces dust concentration from 6000 mg/m3 at the input to 20 mg/m3 at the output and meets the highest European standards. In Ukraine the standard of permissible emissions for this equipment is 50 mg/dm3. The peculiarity of the geographical location of the new terminal will be its proximity to the Kaniv Reservoir. Therefore, in order to protect the aquatic environment from pollution, the technology of cleaning household wastewater using ultrafiltration membrane bioreactors produced by “MITSUBISHI” (Japan) will be introduced at “Pereyaslavs`ka” branch. In general, “NIBULON” in 2009-2011 acquired the following equipment produced for the construction of new elevators and terminals and modernization of the transshipment terminal in Mykolayiv city: laboratory equipment of «Abrook Inc» at a cost of USD 29 705,00 and «Dickey-john Corporation» at a cost of USD 90 134.00, laboratory reagents AOCS at a cost of USD 1 910.00 and ARMI at a cost of USD 3 566,15; a streaming sampler (Enduro Systems) at a cost of USD 27 891.08; new sensors for determination of moisture at a cost of USD 10 411.2, spare parts for dryers (Mathews Company )at a cost of USD 63 077.6; screens for industrial use – USD 3 312.00 (Seedburo Equipment Co); silos and spare parts for them («SCAFCO») at a cost of USD 8,333 773.08; filtering module installation («SIMATEK A / S») at a cost of EUR 1 920 087.63 and technological, transport equipment («Cimbria Unigrain A.S.») at a cost of EUR 35 246 607.14. Financing of elevator equipment purchase is supported by leading European financial institutions. Thus, in 2009-2010, Danish Export Credit Fund provided a guarantee amounting to EUR 40 million. Currently, US EXIM (U.S.) considers a guarantee to finance 75% of the contract for the supply of elevator equipment for a total of USD 13 355 564. Raiffeisen Bank International will be a loaner. The transshipment terminal of “Pereyaslavs`ka” branch will be put into operation by July 1, 2012. Thus, we will once again demonstrate our corporate standard of construction – quickly and efficiently. The commissioning of the new facility in Kyiv region is a real economic benefit: infrastructure development, pumping up the budgets of all levels, especially the local one, new work places and decent wages. “NIBULON” commits to the principles of socially responsible business. The work of “NIBULON” in Denyhivka village has become an example of such approach. “NIBULON” has fulfilled incurred in the Memorandum “On partnership and cooperation” obligations!
