2011 turned over the new page in the history of “NIBULON”. This year we celebrated 20th anniversary of the company! Celebrating its 20th anniversary, we recollect every event, every figure that played an important role in the fate of the company. During the years of its activity “NIBULON” proved that the secret of success is not in imitation of own interests, work “for the conjuncture” and search of an easy path, we create our success on our own steam: with the help of the courage and purposefulness, in spite of everything! Neither obstacles, nor injustice, restrained us, forced us to give up, deprived us of enthusiasm towards the target goal! Certainly, the events of 2011 took rightful place in the 20-year history of “NIBULON”. On the eve of the anniversary, the 20th elevator complex of the company was put in operation, it is up-to-date and has immediately started to work. On the whole, this year we have built three new facilities: the first transshipment terminal on the Southern Bug River in Mykolayiv region and two elevators in Zhytomyr and Kyiv regions. First two tugs of POSS-115 project “NIBULON-1” and “NIBULON-2” were launched. A record crop is harvested on “NIBULON’s” fields – almost 400 thousand tons of agricultural products! The share of wheat of I-III class has increased to 87% this year. This year the achievements of the company in the grain market have become especially valuable to us. After all, despite the fact that our company was not engaged in trade and procurement activities during forced five months of delay, in MY 2010/2011 we were able to overcome the threshold of 2.7 million tons, maintaining our primacy in the export of grain in Ukraine. We offer all of us together to recollect all the key events of the year: – January 2011. According to the rate “GVardiya of managers – 2010” that was compiled by the experts, Oleksiy Vadaturskyy was acknowledged as the most successful manager of Ukraine in 2010. Oleksiy Vadaturskyy received the confident victory among 456 most successful managers of 36 branches of Ukrainian economy. – February 2011 – Mykolayiv planner private enterprise “Torola Design Group” created projects of a unique tug POSS120 and new non-self-propelled vessels NBL91 by the technical task of “NIBULON”. – March 2011 – a construction of the transshipment terminal of “Novoodes’ka” branch was completed. The construction of the most modern transshipment terminal in Nova Odesa town of Mykolayiv region marked the beginning of the revival of navigation along the Southern Bug River! – March 24, 2011 – a solemn ceremony of rewarding the winners of the IV National Maritime Rate of Ukraine based on the results of year 2010 was held. This year “NIBULON” has become the sole winner of nomination “Golden berth”. A successful investment project in construction of transshipment terminals along the Dnipro River (“Kamyanka-Dniprovs’ka” branch of Zaporizhzhya region, “Gradyzk” and “Kremenchuk” of Poltava region) provided one-man leadership of the company. Another remarkable result: our company took the first place in the “Revitalization of the fleet 2010”, marked the construction of a series of non-self-propelled vessels by “NIBULON”. The Director General Oleksiy Vadaturskyy is among five winners in the nomination “Man of the Year 2010 on water transport of Ukraine”. – May 2011 – “NIBULON” took the 192nd place according to the results of in Deloitte ranking of the largest companies in Central and Eastern Europe, thus overtaking the rest of the agricultural enterprises of Ukraine. Our country was represented by only 39 companies in the TOP-500 of the largest companies in Central and Eastern Europe this year. It should be noted that it is not the first time when “NIBULON” appears in the TOP-500 ranking of Deloitte. – May 2011 – “NIBULON” became the best among agricultural companies and the fifth in the commodity production sector according to the results of the ranking of corporate social responsibility (CSR) of Ukrainian rate magazine “GVardiya”. In the overall ranking of CSR “NIBULON” holds the 13th place among all Ukrainian companies. “NIBULON” entered the first 12 companies with best practices in relation to product and consumer and in relation to ecology. – May 2011 – “NIBULON” became a member of American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine. Participation in such major international organization indicates a high status of our company both in Ukraine and on the world stage and is the result of inheritance of the ideas of free competition and civilized cooperation of government and business by our company. – May 31 2011 – the first tug out of six tugs of POSS-115 project, “NIBULON-1” was launched at Mykolayiv shipbuilding yard “Okean”.  – July 2011 – “NIBULON” is the largest exporter of grain crops from Ukraine in 2010/2011 MY. “NIBULON” takes the first place for the third consecutive season – but despite the introduction of quotas for grain export in this marketing year, the result of the company declined in proportion to the total grain export decline from Ukraine almost twice, reaching 2.7 million tons mark of agricultural products to almost 4.8 million tons in 2009/2010 MY. – July 26, 2011 – the Director of World Bank in Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova Martin Raiser visited branches of “NIBULON” in Mykolayiv region. According to Mr. Raiser, visiting of the company with such a unique infrastructure as “NIBULON” gave him an opportunity to familiarize himself with a mechanism for exporting of agricultural products and the movement of grain from the fields to the port: “The things I have seen today are an example of the fact that agriculture sector has the future. This is important for Ukraine, so I hope that others will take into account your example. It is very pleasant for me personally, if the World Bank can provide you with a little help.”  – August 8, 2011 – the second “NIBULON’s” tug of a series of the tugs, “NIBULON-2”, is floated out of the dry dock of Mykolayiv shipbuilding yard “Okean”. – August 22, 2011 – a presentation of the investment project of “NIBULON” on the revival of the Dnipro and other rivers of Ukraine as transportation water ways was held in Kozats’ke village Beryslav district of Kherson region. “NIBULON” confirmed its intention to build two new transshipment terminals in Kherson region, in Novovorontsovka village Novovorontsov district and Kozats’ke village Beryslav district. – August 26, 2011 – a solemn start of a new elevator complex for reception, storage and shipment of grain and oilseeds construction in Teteriv branch (Korovyntsi village Zhytomyr region) was held. The Director General of “NIBULON” Oleksiy Vadaturskyy and the Head of Kyiv Regional State Administration Anatoliy Prysyazhnyuk signed a memorandum “On partnership and cooperation” at the solemn ceremony of the beginning of the construction. – September 5, 2011 – “NIBULON” starts the revival of the Dnipro River in Kyiv region! Construction of a new elevator complex for reception, storage and shipment of grain and oilseeds in Denyhivs’ka branch (Denyhivka village Kyiv region) was started. – September 2011 – “NIBULON” again becomes the first one in agricultural sphere of Ukraine according to Deloitte’s rating, taking the 152 position. “NIBULON”, which is a leader among the agricultural companies for some years in a row, has strengthened its position in the rating. – October 4, 2011 – the State Tax Service of Ukraine and one of the leaders of the agrarian market of the country, the largest agricultural company “NIBULON” signed a unique by its significance for Ukrainian business Memorandum to participate in an experiment on introduction of a horizontal monitoring. The horizontal monitoring means, first of all, “the openness of the company for the tax authorities in the on-line mode. “NIBULON” is an open enterprise for state tax authorities, which allows them to learn its financial documents and information in real time.  – November 2011 – according the results of the general rating “GVARDIYA 500” “NIBULON” won the 16th position among the richest companies in Ukraine (Rating “GVARDIYA 500”), demonstrated revenue growth for 2010 by 1.99%. This position has become the best among companies of agro-industrial complex of Ukraine (Rating of agricomplex). – November 2011 – “NIBULON” headed the Rating of the largest agricultural companies of Ukraine, which was composed by “TOP-100” magazine published by printing house “Economy”. The companies were ranked according to the net profit margin in 2010. – November 10, 2011 a solemn ceremony of awarding winners of the competition “Equal opportunities: the best employer of Ukraine 2011” was held: the flagship of agricultural production of Ukraine “NIBULON” got the award in two categories. The company received a gold award in the category “Best business for family” and a silver award in the category “Companies with over 1 000 employees”. The competition for the second consecutive year is organized by the European Union project “Women and children’s rights in Ukraine – communication component” with the support of the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine, International Labor Organization and the European Business Association.  – November 14, 2011 – the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development recognized “NIBULON” as a winner of Ukrainian Energy Efficiency Program (UKEEP) in the category “Project with the largest energy efficiency.” Authoritative international jury unanimously recognized that energy efficiency program, introduced in “NIBULON” gives the largest energy savings from all three hundred programs that participated in the competition. – November 15, 2011 – the solemn opening of “Teteriv” branch, which is a new modern elevator complex of “NIBULON” for the shipment of grain and oilseeds, was held in Velyki Korovyntsi village of Chudniv district of Zhytomyr region. The enterprise immediately started active reception of agricultural production of this year’s harvest. The opening of the elevator was a milestone event for “NIBULON” because it marked the recovery of the company’s investment project.   – December 1, 2011 – on the eve of its 20th anniversary of “NIBULON”, a solemn opening and putting into operation of the anniversary twentieth elevator complexfor reception, storage and shipment of grain and oilseeds of “Denyhivs’ka” branch were held (Denyhivka village of Tetiyiv district Kyiv region). The facility was built in record short time – 3 months. The enterprise immediately started active reception agricultural production of this year’s harvest.   – December 2011 – In a season 2011 the company’s branches gathered a record crop! Nearly 400 thousand tons of agricultural products! “NIBULON” does not fall short of the quality of its products! Wheat of I-III classes compiled approximately 87% of the total grain output produced. – December 2011 – the company concluded a contract to purchase a new modern dredger to solve problems of silting up and inconsistencies of waterways deep of Ukraine and to ensure high-performance process, as well as to improve ecological situation around “NIBULON’s” enterprises. It was supplied by the company «Aquamec Oy» (Syakula, Finland). The contract at a cost of over half a million Euro involves purchasing milling dredger “Watermaster Classic IV” and its contract supervision.  – December 5, 2011 – “NIBULON” celebrated its 20th anniversary! – December 16, 2011 – the third tug of a series POSS-115 joined the fleet family of “NIBULON”. «NIBULON-3» vessel was launched.
