NIBULON Shipbuilding and Repair Yard is Working on Three New Vessels Simultaneously

The shipping company’s order provides the construction of four non-self-propelled B5000M project river-sea vessels with the following technical characteristics: length – 101 m, breadth – 17 m, draught – 3.75 m, 2 cargo hold capacity – 7,000 cubic meters, and carrying capacity – 5,000 tons. Please note that the first non-self-propelled B5000M project vessel (order No10050) has been already delivered to the customer and made its first cargo trip successfully. The second non-self-propelled B5000M project vessel (order No10051)The shipbuilders have already assembled the hull structure and tested for water tightness at the building berth. They have already installed hatch covers. To outfit the hull, the workers at the fitter workshop have already produced manholes, ventilation covers, ladders, and others. They have already installed almost all the required deck, anchor, and mooring equipment. In particular, all the bollards to fix mooring ropes have been produced; the mooring hawses have been welded into bulwarks to fix rope direction; the multifunctional bitts have been mounted. The shipbuilders have installed guard railing, windlass, winches, a mast, and others. At present the specialists are adjusting a hatch cover system and preparing the vessel for launching. The assembly and pipeline workshop outfits coamings of cargo hatches, mounts gears to lift and traverse hatch covers, and finishes to install the water-based firefighting pipelines, air and sounding pipes, as well as dehydrating system pipes.The workers at the painting and insulation workshop are painting buoyancy compartments.The third non-self-propelled B5000M project vessel (order No10053)The mechanical and fitter workshop is producing parts for hatch covers, namely parts for lifting and traverses gears, such as rollers, link bars, thrusts, bars and foundations. The workers are also producing ladders, rope reeving rollers, rounding, stands, bitts, and a mast. The shipbuilders are building the hull, producing and installing side and bottom sections at the building berth. Please note that NIBULON’s specialists are efficiently assembling the vessel’s cylindrical part and at the same time finishing to form fore and aft parts to be then connected. The workers are working on the all 13 units of the vessel. The shipbuilders of the welding workshop form the units No 4-10, assemble and weld the side and bottom sections of the units No1-3 and No11-13.The fourth non-self-propelled B5000M project vessel (order No10054)At the same time the shipyard has started to build its fourth B5000M project vessel. The metal processing workshop has started to produce parts for the units No 1,7,13. The workers also produce parts to assemble and weld sections to be then given to the shipbuilders at the building berth. The specialists have also started to produce foundations for the hatch cover fasteners. The metal processing workshop has already processed a total of 50 tons of metal. The shipyard will soon purchase 1,100 tons. A total of 1,550 tons of high-quality metal is required to perform one order. In 2022, the shipyard has 6 shipbuilding orders from NIBULON’s shipping company. As a result of the shipyard’s efficient work and NIBULON’s experience, domestic shipbuilding is revived; modern tugs, floating cranes, dredgers and non-self-propelled vessels navigate Ukrainian rivers. Андрій Вадатурський став генеральним директором «НІБУЛОНу» після понад 15 років роботи в компанії — в липні 2022 року.

Він прийняв цю посаду після трагічної загибелі свого батька та засновника «НІБУЛОНу» Олексія Вадатурського разом із матір’ю Раїсою Вадатурською під час російського ракетного удару по їхньому дому в Миколаєві.

З 2014 до 2019 рік був народним депутатом України від одномандатного округу в Миколаївській області та членом Комітету з питань аграрної політики. У 2017 році створив і очолив велику міжпартійну групу, яка виступала за розвиток українських річок як транспортного засобу.  

Має ступінь магістра електротехніки Українського державного морського технічного університету та ступінь магістра економіки промисловості Лондонської школи економіки. У 2009 році за вагомий внесок у розвиток агропромислового комплексу України був нагороджений Президентом України, йому присвоєно звання «Заслужений працівник сільського господарства».

Одружений, має трьох дітей.
