The vessel’s superstructure is almost formed. In particular, the shipbuilders have installed sections of the bridge, which is equipped with 30 portholes as per the project; the specialists have already started installing them. Meanwhile, a pilot control console and a signal mast will be installed on the vessel soon.In the engine room of the high-capacity floating crane, systems of the main power plant are being mounted and tested. Fuel tanks are being prepared for the receipt of diesel fuel. The specialists are connecting cables in the vessel’s switchboard and are preparing the vessel for the receipt of shore power. The systems are being tested in the living accommodation. The shipbuilders have started to install panel plating in the ready-made spaces. Meanwhile, the joiner's workshop of the shipyard has already started producing furniture.Anchor mooring winches have been installed on the deck. The shipbuilders have started mounting cranes for loading products and life-saving equipment, as well as the device for lifeboat launching and recovery.Meanwhile, hatch covers are being prepared. The shipyard has started mounting two cranes from Liebherr-MCCTEC Rostock GmbH (Germany) with a lifting capacity of 45 tons each.In parallel with the outfitting works on the largest order, the shipbuilding and repair yard is preparing sections of the first B1500 project vessel out of four planned ones for the installation on the building berth. The vessel is intended for transportation of various non-grain cargoes.
