Environmental protection is one of the most urgent tasks of our millennium. State which does not give sufficient attention to environmental issues deprives itself of the future. The private sector can not stand aside such problems. “NIBULON”, perhaps is one of a few Ukrainian companies, known for an open and transparent business policy, sincere attitude to social problems of local communities and environmental protection.
“NIBULON” complies with all environmental safety standards for protection of the environment on each newly-built facility and existing enterprises.
Thus, during the construction of the transshipment terminal in Kamyanka-Dniprovs’ka town dredging works were carried out for the possibility of passage of dry cargo vessels to the berth of the new terminal. It stipulates performance of mandatory requirements to prevent the exhaustion of natural resources. For this purpose, “NIBULON” entered into an agreement to purchase over 19 tons of two years old silver carp of the total value UAH 345 636 to organize planting of fish of Kakhovs’kyy reservoir, it is more than 2 million fish, which can simultaneously be contained by 16 trucks!
Favorable conditions were created for engraftment and preserving of fish seed: in view of the fact that silver carp flows in hibernation during the period of winter, now it is placed in the hibernating pits of Zaporizhzhya statefishprotection, planting of fishin the Dnipro will be held only in spring.
A specially created committee of representatives of state fisheries agency, local administration, the Ministry of Environment Protection is keeping an eye out for the course of planting of fishin the Dnipro by “NIBULON” today.
Fishery conservation authorities of Zaporizhzhya region expect that this measure will have a positive effect on preserving the unique nature of Kakhovs’kyy reservoir coast.
