In an anniversary year 2011 “NIBULON” confirmed its status of a leader of the Ukrainian agricultural industry and of a successful agricultural producer, exporter and investor. Our company has taken leading positions as a socially responsible company.
Annually we increase investments in social infrastructure of Ukraine. Thus, in 2010 the company had directed more than UAH 11 million for the social problems of the communities, but in 2011, despite a forced 5 month of ineffective time of the company, more than UAH 12 million were directed on social issues.
In 2011, “NIBULON” became the best among agricultural companies and the fifth in the commodity production sector according to the results of the ranking of corporate social responsibility (CSR) of Ukrainian rate magazine “GVardiya”. In the overall ranking of CSR “NIBULON” holds the 13th place among all Ukrainian companies. “NIBULON” entered the first 12 companies with best practices in relation to product and consumer and in relation to ecology.
Social orientation of the company can be seen not in words but in deeds. The company comprehensively and systematically cooperates with local communities and regularly allocates significant resources to support educational institutions, kindergartens, hospitals, palaces of culture, libraries, sports organizations etc.

“NIBULON’s” standard
On September 1 the next consecutive year, the presentation of new ultra-modern multimedia classrooms from “NIBULON” (Chemistry, Mathematics, Ukrainian literature and fine art as well as an assembly hall in 4 schools of Mykolayiv city (№ 24, 51, 57, boarding school № 6) was held.
Children’s book “My favorite city Mykolayiv” is published for the fifth consecutive year with financial support of the company and all first graders of Mykolayiv and Mykolayiv region get it as a gift for the fifth consecutive year.
Overall 58 (!) schools in 11 regions of Ukraine, tens of cities, hundreds of villages regularly receive assistance from “NIBULON”, including repair of schools, purchasing of sporting equipment, school books etc. The company takes care of catering of school children, providing them with drinking water, equipment of canteens and medical rooms.
Schools sponsored by the company receive funds for participation and payment for transport to arrange visits to various contests, competitions, festivals. Specifically, UAH 15 thousand were given to Mykolayiv College of Arts and Culture for participation in the international competition “Talented people – 2011”, Sevastopol. Black Sea State University n.a. Petro Mogyla (Mykolayiv) received funds for the conference “Olvia Forum”.
In the schools on the periphery transportation of children to school is financed etc.
This year, “NIBULON” has spent significant funds for the repair and purchase of furniture for schools and preschools in Velyki Korovyntsi village (Chudnivs’kyy district, Zhytomyr region), Lidiyivka village (Domanivs’kyy district, Mykolayiv region), Kremenchuk (Poltava region), Pryvorottya village (Kamyanets’-Podil’s’kyy district, Khmel’nytskyy region) and other schools throughout Ukraine. “NIBULON” has allocated UAH 30 thousands to purchase playground for kindergarten “Sonechko” (Kamyanka-Dniprovs’ka town, Zaporizhzhya region).
Elevators of “NIBULON” in Zhytomyr and Kyiv regions have just started operation, but a local school has received “a breath of new information technologies” in Denyhivka village Tetiyivskyy district of Kyiv region, namely: two renovated and equipped with modern furniture and computer equipment classrooms of Chemistry and Computer science, as well as additional comfort – a renovated facade entrance, internal toilets are reconstructed, school yard and adjacent to the school Shevchenko street received a new road surface (estimate of work is UAH 274 thousand). Also, windows and doors are installed at the local pre-schools “Svitanok” and “Veselka”, boiler room is repaired.
A school in Velyki Korovyntsi village of Chudniv district, Zhytomyr region received computer equipment from “NIBULON”, replacement of windows in the assembly hall was conducted.
Assistance provided within “NIBULON’s” standard program is not of one-time-character, and is a systematic and a permanent one. Only such a systematic work brings a decent result – a breakthrough in the education of children, increasing their level of education.
Public health is first!
“NIBULON” gives modern equipment to hospitals to increase confidence of the Ukrainians in future of their health. Everyone can confidently apply to the hospital, to which “NIBULON” provides assistance, knowing that it is possible to receive qualified medical care there, health is in safe hands of professional doctors.
Thus, council of Bilen’ke village (Zaporizhzhya region) received assistance in acquiring cardiograph to the hospital from “NIBULON”. The company provided funds to repair the infectious section of Starobil’s’k district territorial medical association, the maternity department of Svativ CDH (Lugans’k region) and other assistance to medical institutions in different regions of Ukraine.
Due to the funds from the sale of land plot for construction of a new elevator in Velyki Korovyntsi village that were transferred to the Chudniv district budget (Zhytomyr region) ambulances will be purchased.
Funds that were received by the community of Denyhivka village of Tetiyiv district of Kyiv region from “NIBULON” are aimed at an acquisition and installation of doors and windows at a localoutpatient department, and next year – at the hospital.
On the eve of New Year, “NIBULON” made a charitable contribution for the purchase of medical equipment for Mykolayiv City Children`s Hospital № 2 for saving the lives of children.
Investments of “NIBULON” revive Ukrainian village
The company is always happy to lend its shoulder to a community. As part of implementing the investment program on the revival of the Dnipro River as a transport water way of Ukraine, “NIBULON” allocated funds for the development of social infrastructure of the districts, roads repairing is in progress, lighting is being conducted, water supply is being restored, repairing of village councils, palaces of culture etc. is also conducted.
April 15, 2011 “NIBULON” supported by the local authorities planted 700 young trees near the monument to the dead servicemen of the Great Patriotic War II, which is located in the center of Gradyz`k town (Globynskyy district, Poltava region).
These delicate basswoods, maples and birches became the first green plantings and will form the basis of the future central park of Gradyz’k that is a unique ecological system that will significantly improve the ecological condition of the village.
After “NIBULON’s” arrival, Velyki Korovyntsi village came to life! Now there are workplaces, additional revenues to the budget, a railway track received a new life. Due to the funds that the local budget received from the sale of the land plot, a water supply was laid in 8 streets. Currently, at the expense of the funds a roof in a district local history museum is replaced.All necessary documents are prepared and soon light conducting of all the streets of the village, road repair, replacement of the roof in kindergarten will be started.
The local community of Denyhivka village of Tetiyivs’kyy district of Kyiv region received almost UAH 3.4 million from “NIBULON” to address social issues.
Due to these funds the local stadium has been completely renovated (new cover, warm changing rooms, new grand stands, several sports fields, etc. – in the amount of UAH 560 thousand); the local school is renovated and equipped with computers, multimedia boards, the latest training equipment; work on improvement of subjacent territory to the obelisk “Honor” is performed, doors and windows of the local outpatient department are purchased and installed; street light of the village, repair of Chapel, filling potholes of roads of churchyard is conducted; birchwood is planted. Currently preparations to repair the water tower, procurement and installation of doors and windows at the local hospital are carried out, a master plan of the village is being developed.
The company actively cooperates with local authorities. It is not the first year when “NIBULON” signs and executes social agreements with the village councils in various regions of Ukraine, Memorandums of partnership and cooperation with regional administrations. Team of “NIBULON” is convinced that a constructive dialogue between authorities and business is a key to a successful functioning of the state and society in general.
The company promotes the inflow of young people in rural areas and improvement of the demographic situation there by allocation of funds for development of infrastructure of villages and towns of Ukraine, creating permanent work places there. Indeed, in those localities where “NIBULON” works, fertility increases, people return to work in villages and youth, after getting an education, returns to work in its native village.

From July 29 till 31, at the same time with the investment forum of Kyiv region “Stability and growth”, stage of Grand Prix of Ukraine World Cup in class “Formula 1” on the water was held in Vyshgorod. “NIBULON” was general partner and sponsor of the event. A competition of such a kind was carried out in Ukraine for the first time!
