NIBULON has recently constructed and put into operation its new high-capacity Zelenodolska branch transshipment terminal in Dnipropetrovsk region. As part of its project to increase the capacity at its facilities, NIBULON has started preparatory works to build additional silos with galleries, transport lines and auxiliary facilities at Holoprystanska branch in Kherson region. The project provides the construction of 3 silos with the capacity of 7.3 thousand tons each (about 22 thousand tons); a loading overpass with chain conveyers; an underground unloading transport gallery with belt conveyers; an aspiration system with airways and dust cleaning equipment, storm drain systems as part of storm-water inlets and sewerage systems. Once the construction is completed, the new silos, together with the existing technological facility, will create a single automated system of grain and oilseeds receipt, processing, and shipment by water and road transport. The grain storage capacity of Holoprystanska branch will be increased up to 98 thousand tons. We would remind you that Holoprystanska branch was constructed in June 2017 and have already received more than 620 thousand tons of agricultural commodities. In addition to receipt, the transshipment terminal constantly unloads grain on water transport. Since Holoprystanska branch commenced operations, the company has shipped grain by about 200 non-self-propelled vessels and transported more than 660 thousand tons of agricultural commodities to the company’s marine transshipment terminal in Mykolaiv. Thus, more than 27 thousand trucks were removed from Ukrainian roads. The branch has an important strategic task to implement the company’s investment projects. Kherson region is a water gateway of Ukraine. The waterway that unites Ukraine and Belarus starts from the very Hola Prystan town. Making the E-40 waterway navigable will facilitate trade between two countries and reduce traffic load in regional centers located along the Dnipro. In 2017, a Memorandum of Partnership and Cooperation was signed among NIBULON, the Kherson Regional State Administration, and the Homel Regional Executive Committee in Nova Kakhovka town. In compliance with the Memorandum, the company confirmed the implementation of investment projects to construct elevator capacities and transshipment terminals on the territory of Kherson region. Since the company signed the Memorandum, we have constructed not only 4 transshipment terminals along the Dnipro, namely Holoprystanska branch (Kherson region), Khortytsia and Ternivska branches (Zaporizhzhia region), and Zelenodolska branch (Dnipropetrovsk region) but also a fleet which is now operating on the Southern Buh. The fleet can transport cargoes by the international E40 waterway. Thus, we have implemented arrangements specified in the Memorandum. At present, an issue to make the E40 waterway navigable is at the stage of declarative statements of the two countries. If the country requires our assistance, NIBULON is ready to help and perform dredging, as well as other operations. NIBULON, as a business entity, is interested in developing the Dnipro as a navigable transport artery.
