Recently an official ceremony to announce the winners of the all-Ukrainian “Prompt Taxpayers-2020” rating was held in Kyiv. The All-Ukrainian Public Organization “Taxpayers Association of Ukraine” organized this event.The award is made after regional and all-Ukrainian competitive rounds. Large, medium, and small companies traditionally participated in the contest. In 2020, 670 applications from various regions of the country were submitted to participate in the contest. 127 participants were chosen by the general directorate at the all-Ukrainian level. According to Grigol Katamadze, President of the Taxpayers Association of Ukraine, all 127 participants were verified by the State Tax Service of Ukraine and the State Labour Service of Ukraine. NIBULON and other participants were chosen based on the completeness and timeliness of their tax payments, their tax discipline, the number of official jobs, and the amount of money allocated for charitable and social projects. As a result, NIBULON has been acknowledged as the best company under the “Prompt taxpayer in the agrarian sector – crop farming” category. The company had already received awards at various levels in 2011, 2012, 2014, 2017, 2018, and 2019.“This award and gratitude from the State Tax Service prove NIBULON’s high tax standards and its considerable contribution to the development of Ukraine’s state economy as well as peoples’ living standards”, says Mykhailo Rizak, Deputy General Director of Public Authorities Interaction. “It is a pleasure to receive the award from the Minister of Finance of Ukraine, Serhiy Marchenko, on the day of the budget approval, which provides an allocation of almost UAH 750 million to improve the Dnipro Cascade locks. This will certainly increase the efficiency of inland water transport, considering that the Minister of Infrastructure, Oleksandr Kubrakov, initiated an experiment in which a tug and two non-self-propelled vessels passed through the lock simultaneously . The company does not need to make any additional effort to comply with the various demanding criteria, as NIBULON has been an example of a transparent and socially responsible business in Ukraine for 30 years. The company always operates within the law and promptly pays taxes and dues to the budgets at various levels. The company does not ignore Ukrainians’ problems. In 2020, the company paid almost UAH 1 billion in taxes and dues and implemented its large-scale project in the healthcare sector, at a cost of UAH 100 million, thereby helping Mykolaiv region to fight the coronavirus pandemic.
