The company’s production branches have entered upon new agricultural season – spring field works have been continued more than a week. At present the branches of the Southern and Eastern regions carry out feeding of wheat and barley. Nature promotes execution of works: the soil is frozen, thawed and is characterized by enhanced humidity in a one-meter-thick layer. 3 thousand ha of sown areas have already been dressed that is 10% of the total amount; the rate of work execution comprises about 700 ha per day. Overwintering of winter crops goes normally, the crops are in order and preserve their productivity potential laid down since autumn. At the branches of Northern and Western regions the same spring field works will be started after snow melts. In the first half of March there will be started prevernal soil harrowing– a range of works that contributes to preservation of soil humidity. The sowing season will begin after harrowing. In order to ensure high quality of grain products, a crop yield and to preserve soil fertility, the company uses nitric and complex mineral fertilizers, the best seed and plant protection means. There have already been signed contracts for purchase of plant protection means and fertilizers, including complex minerals (2 240 tons), ammonia nitrate (7 820 tons), carbamide-amonia mixture (120 tons). There have also been signed foreign economic and internal contracts for purchase of seed grain, namely corn – 16 888 sowing units, sunflower – 5 460 sowing units, sorghum – 990 sowing units, primary soybean – 140 tons. NIBULON’s branch continues to receive the parcels. NIBULON’s partners are the world’s leading and domestic producers, such as Pioneer, Monsanto, Raelin, Zorya-Mayis Nasinnya, and others. At present there has been started delivery of seed grain to the company’s branches. According to the specialists of NIBULON’s production branch, in the current season an early spring is expected, thus an intensive growth of positive temperatures can dry the top layer of soil. Consequently, all the field works will be conducted by NIBULON on a tight timetable. Now a set of works is performed in an organized way and as planned.
