This year’s agricultural works have been started according to standard calendar terms. Due to the favourable weather conditions, NIBULON’s production branches efficiently fertilize winter crops with ammonium nitrate. The first early spring fertilization is an agrarian measure determining a yield of winter grain crops. It aims to revive and increase vegetative growth of plants. Timely fertilization considerably influences winter crop yields. The agrarians plan to fertilize winter wheat on an area of 8.5 thousand ha, winter barley – on an area of 1 thousand ha, winter rapeseed – on an area of 3 thousand ha. At present the agrarians have performed agricultural works on an area of 7 thousand ha which is 60% of the total plan. They have almost completed to fertilize lands in the South and Center and started fertilization at the branches of the Western region. When this technological operation is completed, the agrarians will prepare machinery to conduct early spring harrowing. At present NIBULON’s land bank is 51 thousand ha. As a result of the full-scale invasion, the company lost 25.5 thousand ha of lands, mostly in the Luhansk region, and about 5.5 thousand ha of lands require demining in Snihurivka district (Mykolaiv region). The company is actively preparing for demining to sow spring crops in Snihurivka district this season. Our agrarians have optimistic forecasts about crop yields on the sown areas. In addition, NIBULON plans to renew its agricultural machinery fleet, to implement ERP-systems and other organizational measures to improve production results.
