From the 15th to the 19th of June, 2010 the most prestigious nation-wide Ukrainian exhibition “AGRO-2010” was held in Kyiv. Agro-industrial complex of our country was represented by a leading exporter and domestic investors “NIBULON” and other companies. The President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych attended opening of “AGRO-2010” exhibition, he stressed that modernization of agro-industrial complex has an exceptional value for the development of Ukrainian economic. President of Ukraine noted that in the program of reforms for 2010-2014 special attention is paid to agriculture. Among the strategic objectives in this sector were identified: –         increasing of grain exports volume; –         stopping administrative interference into agriculture; –         removing of any restrictions on agricultural exports; –         establishing a transparent land market and developing an effective mechanism of agricultural lands turnover; –         limiting the imports of low quality agricultural products to Ukraine. According to the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, “AGRO-2010” is a vivid example of diligence of the Ukrainian people and its constant striving for perfection. “Ukraine as a manufacturer and exporter of agricultural products has received a chance today to take advantage of increasing of global demand for agricultural products and revive its glory as the breadbasket of Europe” – summed up the President. “NIBULON” presented the practical idea of the revival of the agricultural sector of Ukraine at the “AGRO-2010”. Exposition of “NIBULON” became a presentation of investment project on revival of Dnipro basin grain market infrastructure. The unique plan on the revival of agricultural logistics in Ukraine attracted the interest of foreign and Ukrainian visitors and exhibitors. Today, the investment project of “NIBULON” – is really a precedent, the following figures prove that. The project includes construction of 57 non-self-propelled and self-propelled vessels incl. 14 river and sea tugs, 17 elevators, 10 of them are transshipment terminals along the Dnipro River, Southern Bug River and other rivers. The investment program of “NIBULON” will increase the profitability of farm enterprises by UAH 4 billion per year. During the implementation of the project more than 150 construction companies will be provided with work, 14,5 thousand people are involved in its implementation. 2000 people will get work places after the completion of project implementation. Realization of the project will provide expansion of river freight volumes along the Dnipro River up to 2 million tons, along the Southern Bug up to 1 million tons. Today, when all the world economies overcome the problem of limited resources, “NIBULON” easily extends the possibilities of our country. Ukraine has always been a transit state, the state that has serious navigational potential, today it has received a real chance to optimize logistics of shipment. “NIBULON” is already working in this direction.
