Every year the problem of rural education becomes more urgent. Lidiyivka village of Domanivskyy district, Mykolaiv region is not an exception. There was a time when the school had to be closed. Only due to the efforts of “NIBULON”, countrymen of Lidiyivka village could save the school.
“NIBULON” is known by its attentive attitude towards social problems. In each region where the branches of the company are situated, people feel its sincere help. Domanivskyy region is not an exception. “NIBULON’s” branch “Lidiyivske” actively cooperates with the village council, undertaking the solving of many social problems. Today “NIBULON”haspresented a modern interactive class for natural sciences to the school.
According to the headmistress Liliya Nykyforivna Byezina, “Today, rural school can not survive without sponsor support. We feel the support of “NIBULON” every day. Only this academic year sponsor support has reached 160 thousand UAH. First of all it is heating system of the school, free meals for pupils of the 1st – 4th grades, organization of excursion tours, purchase of new computers, sports equipment, school uniform and bags for the first grade pupils.”
The problem of reducing the number of children is very serious in rural schools.  However according to the headmistress, the situation in Lidiyivs’ka school is the opposite – the number of children is increasing. There are 15 specialists in different subjects at school. Teachers and children from Domanivka and neighbouring villages in the district are driven to the school at the expense of“NIBULON”.
The headmistress shared successful results of the school within recent years: “Our school has won the IV-V places in the rating of schools participating in the second regional stage of Ukrainian academic competitions among 22 schools of Domanivskyy district! 26 students have taken part in regional contests and competitions during this academic year. More than half of them have won the first three places in competitions in humane and technical disciplines. In the regional round of Ukrainian contest of children’s creative works, we took the first place in nomination “Ethnographic Research”. All of our graduates become students of vocational-technical schools and universities. Everything we have achieved is due to the support of “NIBULON”. Thanks to the latest methodological and technical equipment, our children have an opportunity to study at the level of urban schools.
Teaching staff of the school places its hopes on the interactive class. In fact, according to the teachers, knowledge with a help of such equipment is better learnt. Children are interested in the lessons, and it is a good incentive for learning.
“NIBULON” gives a hand not only to the school. In the year of financial crisis the company devoted funds for the reconstruction of water supply and lighting of Lidiyivka village! The crisis does not really exist for those, who want to help people living next door.
