Heavy rain showers during almost all previous week in Zaporizhzhia region didn’t prevent the company from holding traditional production meetings on the construction of the transshipment terminal in Ternivka (Vilniansk district) (author of the project – CHYF Ltd.). Taking into account the final stage of general construction works and approaching commissioning, meetings at the site are held twice a week.Ukrdobrobud Ltd. and Vzaiemodiia Ltd. finish arranging foundations under metal silos, which are being actively mounted at the construction site. In total, specialists from Spetsmontazhinzhynirynh, Intehral, Grain Capital – Engineering will have to mount about 750 tons of metal structures (20 silos with total capacity of 76,000 tons). The supervisor from Frame, the Italian supplier, personally controls all works. During the construction of NIBULON’s third branch in Zaporizhzhia region, 3,640 tons of metalware will be mounted. In particular, a loading rack for shipments on river and road transport and transport galleries are being mounted.The contractors should have finish all finishing works in the terminal’s administrative and laboratory building, cafeteria, fire station and workshop by the end of the week. After that the specialists will start furnishing them and creating proper working conditions for the team of “Ternivska” branch, which will number 120 employees, mostly from among the local population.Meanwhile, the specialists continue installing technological equipment from the world's leading manufacturers in the headhouse, namely grain separators and drum sieves (BUHLER GmBh, Switzerland) and conveying equipment (Cimbria Unigrain A/S, Denmark). Sich Enerho (Zaporizhzhia region) has started laying a cable to provide power supply. Thus, absolutely all construction and installation works will have been finished by June 10. And commissioning works will begin. At the constructed berth, the length of which is 150 m, the specialists finish installing Telestack TS 527 loading machine produced in Britain. The machine is capable of loading vessels with a capacity from 3,000 to 5,000 tons, with a maximum productivity of 500 tons/hour. Material handling to the loader is envisaged from the coastal chain conveyor of scraper-type.The most difficult task facing the builders is the construction of 29.4 thousand square meters of concrete access roads and a parking lot, etc., which has been complicated by unfavorable weather conditions. However, work is still being carried out according to the set time limits, without significant delays. More than 1,000 builders are working at the construction site as a big team. Implementing the project aimed at constructing the company’s high-capacity transshipment terminal that will serve farmers of both Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions, NIBULON provides work not only for about 70 contracting organizations, but also for other important sectors of Ukraine’s economy, which contributes to their development.
