Oleksiy Vadaturskyy, NIBULON’s General Director, together with Volodymyr Zhmur, the shipyard’s director, and Mykhailo Zavorotchenko, the shipping company’s director, showed the guests the modern shipyard. The visitors learnt the shipyard’s operating principles, observed the modern production workshops, inspected the company’s modern fleet, and talked to the shipbuilders. The guests had an opportunity to watch a water show performed by the T410 project pusher tug and the MYKOLAIVETS dredger.Dmytro Razumkov saw the capacities of NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard as well as its efficiency. The shipyard is proud of its best shipbuilders, who can build a fleet from aluminum and iron, as well as build vessels not only for Ukraine but also for foreign countries. The shipyard even helps to repair ships to strengthen Ukraine’s maritime security. Oleksiy Vadaturskyy highlighted the current problems in the shipbuilding and infrastructure sectors which needed to be resolved by the government. In the presence of People’s Deputies from Mykolaiv region, Oleksandr Pasichnyi, Oleksandr Gaidu and Artem Chornomorov, NIBULON’s General Director gave the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine all the required applications, together with copies of ones previously written to the President of Ukraine and the country’s top leadership.Oleksiy Vadaturskyy hopes that the government will take real steps to improve the working conditions for Ukrainian shipbuilders and seamen, as today they are actually in a survival situation. Solving the issues raised during the meeting will enable Ukraine to create other companies like NIBULON so that Ukraine can become a marine state rather than a country at the seaside. The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine shared his point of view and supported the development and efficient use of a well-developed river network in Ukraine. He noted the imperfections of the Law “On Inland Water Transport” that would come into force on January 1, 2022, and stressed that he was ready to support Ukrainian shipbuilders within legislation. He promised to consider additional amendments to regulate these issues at the opening of the Verkhovna Rada’s new session. NIBULON is ready to cooperate with authorities, to organize meetings at its facilities, to show practical steps to make Ukraine a powerful shipbuilding country and a marine country with its own modern ships. It is an important topic to be discussed at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine. Oleksiy Vadaturskyy officially invited the Minister of Finance, Serhiy Marchenko, the Budget Committee Head, Yuriy Aristov, the Transport Committee Head, Yuriy Kisel, the Head of the People’s Servant fraction, Davyd Arakhamia, as well as all the People’s Deputies to adopt an experience of NIBULON’s successful development. “Ukraine will be successful only when we fight for it”, posted NIBULON’s General Director, Oleksiy Vadaturskyy, on his Facebook page.
