Since the beginning of harvesting, NIBULON has chosen a pace of work which managed to overcome even unpredictable difficulties connected with weather conditions.The company harvested after heavy rains in the south and sharp temperature fluctuations which caused practically the ripening of grain crops practically simultaneously in various regions of the country. NIBULON has developed and implemented an efficient strategy to speed up harvesting. Due to the agrarian technologies, modern technical equipment and skillful agrarians, all the crops have been harvested optimally.Consequently, the company has achieved leading yield results with a gross harvest of 334 thousand tons, which made the 2021 production season one of the best in recent years. The highlights of the 2021 season were a record yield of winter crops of 46,2 dt/ha and the best sunflower yield of 51,1 thousand tons. According to NIBULON’s Deputy General Director of Agricultural Production, Kostiantyn Khmelnytskyi, this result was 26% higher than that achieved in 2020. The company’s production branches harvested almost 142 thousand tons of early grain crops and 192 thousand tons of late grain crops. “ The company planned to achieve such results, as it has concentrated on production intensification this season. We have developed efficient production strategies for each region, considering all the climatic peculiarities and possible risks. Efficiency is the most important component of the strategy, which enabled us to choose the proper actions for different weather conditions. Only when you are completely sure about the weather, it is possible to choose the most efficient technique. We did this way. All the services, departments, and divisions responded quickly and efficiently to weather changes. Our branches have achieved good results this year. We have achieved either one of the best results or records for each of the five main crops grown by the company”, says Seghiy Lahuta, a head of the production department.It is a pleasure to mention the best branches which achieved high yields and took leading positions in their regions:- sunflower – 30,8 dt/ha and 30,5 dt/ha (Lidiyivske RE and Prybuzhanivska branches in Mykolaiv region), 30,3 dt/ha (Khmilnyk branch in Vinnytsia region);- corn – 109,3 dt/ha (Kamianets-Podilska branch in Khmelnytskyi region), 104,4 dt/ha (RE Lidiyivske branch in Mykolaiv region), 100 dt/ha (Romanivska branch in Zhytomyr region);- wheat – 56,1 dt/ha (Kamianka branch in Cherkasy region) and 54,9 dt/ha (Kamianets-Podilska branch in Khmelnytskyi region);- barley – 60,7 dt/ha (Prybuzhanivska branch in Mykolaiv region);- rapeseed – 34,6 dt/ha (Pivdennyi Buh branch in Vinnytsia region).Today NIBULON has 20 branches located in 10 regions across Ukraine: not only in the north where weather conditions promote high yields, but also in the southern and eastern regions with drought weather conditions. Despite this, NIBULON demonstrates its efficient agricultural commodity production strategy every year, which is proved by high yields. Product quality remains a model of agrarian standards. Food cargoes comprise 95% of wheat harvested. The company continues to develop and improve its growth technologies, to modernize its agricultural machinery, to develop its own agrarian technologies as well as to implement the leading global ones.
