Finally, it happened, “NIBULON’s” staff had been waiting for it for such a long time. On May 17, 2012, the fourth “NIBULON’s” tug of “POSS-115” series “NIBULON-4” was launched at Mykolayiv shipbuilding yard “Okean”. After contract relations completion between our company and the shipbuilding yard, the parties signed a monthly contract for services provision by Mykolayiv shipbuilding yard “Okean”. They are electric energy supply, industrial premises rent, etc. Thereby, “NIBULON” performed all necessary conditions for contractors providing the vessel construction completion. On May 17, after the contract completion, the vessel was delivered to “NIBULON’s” transshipment terminal for construction works completion. The vessel was moving herself in a normal mode, both main engines were in operation. The readiness of the tug was 98% when moving. Final painting works should be performed. “Yug-Antikor” company, “NIBULON’s” contractor, has performed these works by May 23. Machinery inspection of the vessel was completed in parallel. Other works were completed earlier, i.e. all conditions of the equipment suppliers were completed, equipment adjustment and installation were performed in their presence. A tug’s crew and company experts performed a complex of sea trials and mooring tests (as required by the Register of Shipping). At present the ship has already been stated for the Register class, required documents were received, the tug was registered. “NIBULON -4” has increased the fleet of “NIBULON”! The given event became one more evidence that the company investment program on the revival of navigation along the Dnipro and the Southern Bug rivers is implemented with success. Despite of all difficulties, even despite of that we complete construction of vessels independently, construction of own fleet does not slow down. Four tugs of “POSS-115” series are not the limit for the company to stop. In the near future we will start to construct another two vessels of this series. Other shipping projects will be implemented to justify seriousness of our intentions. “NIBULON” is a national Ukrainian company. The vessels of our fleet, designed by “POSS Torola”, Ukrainian design company, are made of Ukrainian steel at Mykolayiv shipbuilding yard “Okean” and fly Ukrainian flag. Many companies from other branches of Ukrainian economy are involved in fleet construction.
