NIBULON’s most modern Ukrainian fleet transported 4.14 million tons of cargoes by water in 2020. It is just the beginning for the company. The company plans to transport 4.5 million tons of cargoes this year. Thus, NIBULON implements its comprehensive approach. The company constructs modern grain transshipment terminals and brings them closer to farmers, revives waterways and domestic shipbuilding at its own expense.NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard has already started to build new orders (orders 10050 and 10051). The shipyard will use more than 2,400 tons of high-quality ship metal. The first batch (about 30%) has been already delivered to the shipyard. The specialists from the metal processing workshop are cleaning and priming metal sheets by using Rösler equipment and are cutting metal to produce the vessel’s parts and outfitting. The assembly fabrication workshop is actively assembling the first sections of the hull’s cylindrical part. The workers from the mechanical and fitter workshop as well as assembly and pipeline workshop have already received raw material and will soon start working. Please note that B5000M is a project modernized by NIBULON’s shipbuilders. Taking into account the operation experience (the company’s fleet comprises two B5000 project vessels) and in order to improve its maneuverability, the shipbuilders will improve fore and aft parts of the vessel to operate on the Ukrainian rivers more efficiently. The shipbuilders finish building the sixth non-self-propelled NBL-91 project vessel (order 10041). The electricians have connected all the equipment and mounted hatch covers. The workers have finished priming the hull and painting buoyancy compartments. They will soon conduct the final painting of the hull, and the order will then be launched. While implementing its shipbuilding program, the shipyard maintains the cargo fleet. At present the shipbuilding and repair yard is working on eight vessels.
