The construction of towing fleet of “NIBULON” is being continued despite all the skeptical remarks addressed to union of “hammer and sickle”. Mykolayiv shipbuilding yard “Okean” is loaded with work, employees of the yard work in good faith, despite all the turmoil at the enterprise. We always acquaint readers with the process of fleet construction. Specialists of the company weekly attend shipbuilding yard, providing readers with the most efficient and reliable information. In particular, as reported earlier, according to the schedule and previous agreements the first “NIBULON’s” tug of POSS-115 project – “NIBULON-1” will be launched in May 2011. Currently construction works of the vessel in dry dock are at the final stage – installation of equipment and other insignificant works are completed. General Director of “NIBULON”, Hero of Ukraine Oleksiy Vadaturskyy and the company’s specialists: director of the shipping company Volodymyr Sharabura and his deputy Yuriy Karmalov visited shipbuilding yard on the 26th of April in order to make sure personally in the pace of construction and adherence to schedules. President of Mykolayiv shipbuilding yard “Okean” Leonid Shumylo, manager for project administration Igor Snetkov and others met with the guests. Partners had lookthrough excursion of workshops of the yard, where the 3rd and the 4th “NIBULON’s” tugs of the series are situated (orders № 185-186), then they went to dry dock directly to the first two tugs (orders № 183-184). Examining vessels that are being constructed, teams discussed the conditions and features of organizational management of the project, raised the issue of deadline of the orders. As expected, the deadline remained unchanged. Thus full “fleet’s family” of “NIBULON’s” tugs will furrow Ukrainian rivers in summer. In conclusion Oleksiy Vadaturskyy asked management of the shipbuilding yard and its team not to lose professional tempering and not to stop working and to continue adhering to previous agreements. In turn, “NIBULON” will give a helping hand to the team.
