Let’s Keep Going

On April 30, a regular production meeting headed by NIBULON’s General Director Oleksiy Vadaturskyy was held at the construction site of the high-capacity transshipment terminal. It was held with the participation of the company’s specialists and the village head Viktor Lavryk. As always, the meeting participants and heads of all contracting organizations involved in constructing the terminal became acquainted with the pace of work at each facility. In particular, a weighing station is being prepared for commissioning.  Building and finishing works in the terminal’s administrative and laboratory building, cafeteria and transformer substation are in their final stages. The facilities must be delivered to the customer in late May. At the same time, NK BUD is completing general construction works in the mechanical workshops and fire station.
Meanwhile, Construction Company Ltd. and TSKS Ltd. have started plating a headhouse (49 m) and a truck tipper with metal.  Oleksiy Vadaturskyy was pleased with the pace of work at these areas. But he called on the builders not to relax and to perform works ahead of schedule whenever possible.
Metalware for upper galleries is being gradually delivered to the construction site. Specialists from Spetsmontazhinzhenirynh Ltd. have started mounting them. At the same time, works on the preparation of foundations under metal silos are in full swing. There will be mounted 20 silos with a total capacity of 76 thousand tons (12 silos * 5.5 thousand tons, 4 silos * 2.3 thousand tons, and 4 silos for moist grain * 200 tons). It should be noted that foundations under silos, as well as the main technological facilities of the transshipment terminal, are strengthened due to ferroconcrete piles. There will be driven about 3,500 piles. NIBULON’s General Director called on the contractors to accelerate the work at this site, as the first batches of metalware of silos will be delivered to the facility soon. After that the specialists will start mounting them.
According to the established schedule, works on the terminal’s cargo berth are also being performed. Ukrdobrobud Ltd. has laid all sewage systems, and it will start concreting the berth from May 5. Next week the specialists will start installing a track panel for a ship loader from TELESTACK Ltd. (Great Britain) with a capacity of 500 tons per hour.
At the end of the production meeting, Oleksiy Vadaturskyy once again emphasized that the facility must have been put into operation by June 15. He takes control of this strategic goal,
“The holidays have ended. We have one and a half months to complete works at the facility. All major works must have been completed by June 15. The grain will not wait, and grain of the new crop will be transported from the terminal by the river. Please mobilize people to work round-the-clock. We have to do this. We will succeed!”
Due to NIBULON’s transshipment terminals in Zaporizhzhia region (in Bilenke, Kamianka-Dniprovska and Ternivka), local agrarians will not have to transport products to Kherson, Mykolaiv and Odesa. This will remove traffic load on the roads and positively affect their quality, as well as the cost of grain.
“I am very pleased with the fact that I am building our facility here and I am pleased that we develop Ukraine and Zaporizhzhia region. And if someone thinks that the construction is a process of cutting a red ribbon, then he is mistaken. There are 75 construction organizations working at our site and we have very short terms. It is very difficult so that the general director was pleased with everything.  But I know for sure that the construction will have been completed by June 15 and all builders will make every effort to complete the construction by that date. The agrarian sector is counting on us. Agricultural producers will not need to carry their grain at a distance of 200-300 km and they will use the services of the terminal in Ternivka “, summed up Oleksiy Vadaturskyy.
