On the 9th of September the International Investment Forum “Integration and Partnership” was held in Ukrainian House in Kyiv. Its objectives are the presentation of innovative investment opportunities and prospects of development of the Kiev region, discussion of issues of regional development, mechanisms and instruments of investment activity, expansion and intensification of regional and international cooperation, establishing of partnership with private capital.   During the forum, Kiev region proposed projects on the cost of USD 4 billion, which were presented by more than 70 regional and international companies.   But, most participants were Ukrainian enterprises. Intense interest of the forum guests was evoked by exposition of “NIBULON”. General director of the company, Hero of Ukraine Oleksiy Vadaturskyy personally presented the company’s investment program to revive the Dnipro river and the Southern Bug river as waterways of Ukraine to the guests, in particular (within its implementation) construction of series of river and inland silos in Kiev region.   For a broad spectrum of people the project of “NIBULON” was the first presented at a press conference with participation of adviser of head of Kyiv Regional State Administration Oleg Shumayev and regional media. Further its discussion was continued during the roundtable discussion “Development of  agribusiness and processing industry (with the participation of  the Vice Prime Minister on agricultural issues Viktor Slauta, Minister of Agrarian Policy Mykola Prysyazhnyuk etc.). It is nice to note that a meaningful presentation of Oleksiy Vadaturskyy was accompanied by a smile of Victor Slauta – his face was full of acceptance and approval. “I’m sure that tomorrow there will be a lot of potential investors, business people who are interested not only in the content of the submission of such projects, but also how to participate and assist their implementation,” – he said.   The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov, head of the working group on the national projects of the Committee on Economic Reforms Vladyslav Kas’kiv, head of Kyiv Regional State Administration Anatoliy Prysyazhnyuk, President of the American Chamber of Commerce and Industry Jorge Zukoski and others welcomed the participants.    The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov and the Vice Prime Minister on Finance Sergiy Tigipko during their presentations emphasized that such modern investment projects are necessary and economically very helpful for Ukraine.   First people of the state were present at the exposition not so long (due to workload and busy schedule), but it was said decisively about the benefits for their domestic economy of projects like “NIBULON’s” one.   We suggest you to see a spot photo report.
