In four branches of “Nibulon Ltd.” in Nikolaev region (Bashtanskiy, Lidievskiy, Pribuzhanovskiy, and Snigirevskiy), early grains harvesting was started.
Pribuzhanovskiy branch (in Nikolaev region) started harvesting of winter barley on 03.07.2006. As at 04.06.2006, the first thousand tons of barley was collected. As at 05.07.2006, 50% of the planted area of this crop were harvested in Pribuzhanovskiy branch; the total harvest amounted to 1,2 thousand tons.
Snigirevskiy branch (in Nikolaev region) started harvesting of winter wheat on 03.07.2006. As at 05.06.2006, 22% of the planted area of this crop were harvested in Snigirevskiy branch; amounted to 880 tons.
Starting 05.07.2006, Bashtanskiy and Lidievskiy branches actively engaged in the harvesting campaign.
All the production branches of “Nibulon Ltd.” are fully equipped with harvesting machinery. In the Company’s branches in Nikolaev region, 20 units of grain-harvesting machinery are involved; additionally, 10 grain harvesters were moved to the Company’s branches in order to ensure completion of harvesting within 10-days term.The expected total harvest of early grains in total at the Company is estimated in the amount of more than 60 thousand tons.Along with harvesting, soil preparation is conducted for sowing of winter grains in 2006.
