“I had no doubts whether to go to war or not. In this war, everyone should do his utmost to win. I made my choice immediately and do not regret it. I have something to defend. I went for fighting so that the war would not come to my home. There is no other way”, – Denys Riabinin, a NIBULON resident and UAV operator of 77 separate airmobile brigade, says by phone.
We assure you: the morale and fighting spirit of our colleague is at level of 100+. Enemies have no chance when our land is protected by such people!
Denys joined NIBULON in 2006 – right away after graduating from the Mykolaiv State Agrarian University. He started as an economist at Starobilska branch, later he was transferred to the position of deputy director of Sukhorabska branch, and in 2008 was appointed its director. In two years, Denys headed the Artemivska branch (now is Skorokhodivska) in Poltava region, which he has successfully managed for 12 years.
In addition to the fact that Denys is the head of Skorokhodivska branch, he is also a deputy of the rural council. As Denys says, for him it is a hobby and additional burden.
Last February, Denys interrupted his career and public work and dramatically changed his activity profile. Form the first days of the war, he joined the ranks of Territorial Defense of Poltava region, in September he was mobilized and receive military training, and already since January he has been participating in active combat operations as part of the 77 separate airmobile brigade.
During his service, Denys went through Soledar, Bakhmut and Lyman direction. He was awarded the “Cross of Ground Forces” for his honorable service. Now Denys is in one of the hottest spots in Ukraine – in Luhansk region. He is a UAV operator, engaged in intelligence activities, as well as providing and delivering ammunition to combat positions.
Like all Ukrainians, Denys dreams of peace and our victory:
“Of course, I really want to return home, to my family, to my friends, to my own NIBULON. But first we need to expel the enemy from our land! Peace all over the world and our victory is now my the most cherished dream.”
We really believe and hope that our colleague’s dream will come true very soon and he together with all our defenders will return to their families!
Denys’s wife Oksana and 7-year-old son are waiting for him at home. The whole friendly NIBULON family is waiting for its colleague and friend, and incredibly proud of him!
