At the transshipment terminal Alexey Vadaturskiy had what to show the students and professors from Iowa State (the USA). Vitaliy Sinyavskiy, “Nikolaevskie novosty” On Thursday, 26 students and 5 professors from Iowa State University of science and technology were at the transshipment terminal of “NIBULON Ltd”. Americans were accompanied with five teachers of Dnipropetrovsk State Agrarian University. At the terminal the excursion was conducted on English by Deputy General Director Andrey Vadaturskiy. First the representatives of the American University from Ames city visited Ukraine in 2001. This and two previous visits were within the program “Studying agricultural abroad” founded by International Contacts Department of Iowa University in 1995. The aim of the program was to acquaint the students of Agricultural Faculty with farming technologies of different countries. The students visited Mykolaiv city are studying Agronomy, Animal Science, Veterinary Science, Horticulture, grain processing and storage. Americans found themselves at “NIBULON Ltd” not by accident. Dr. Lance Gibson, having heard a lot of Ukrainian national graintrader and agricultural producer, recommended his colleagues to visit exactly this company. However before to visit the transshipment terminal General Director Alexey Vadaturskiy and his transoceanic guests have came to Namyv district where Americans acquainted with teachers and pupils of the secondary school №57. “NIBULON Ltd” has been supporting this school already for 3 years, and in February, 2007 the company gave the computer-class to the school. Pupils gain access to modern informational technologies. Americans did rather not hide astonishment when pupils started to speak good English. “I had a dream – said Alexey Vadaturskiy – to give confidence to children in order they do not quail at American students. Our children are the cleverest in the world. We have the same opportunities to have education. American students pay 17 000 dollars per year for their education but in Ukraine it’s still possible to have education free of cost.” Alexey Athanasievych underlined that his company is socially responsible to citizens of those regions where he works. In Ukraine it is rear to meet with such relation of great company to social sphere. After an hour’s excursion at the terminal the guests from Iowa shared their impressions with journalists. The leader of the program “Studying agricultural abroad” Ms. Jodi Cornell noted that it was very interesting for her to see the great Ukrainian company – the competitor for the USA on the world arena. She was nicely surprised, especially Jodi was amazed with the huge granaries for 50 thousand tons each of them. American has never seen such ones before, although Jodi met with many things. Dr. Richard Gladon said that it is the sixth visit to Ukraine and he noted the great progress here. In his opinion our country has considerable potential which it uses efficiently. “NIBULON Ltd” evidences it. In the world Ukraine is associated less and less with word “Chernobyl”, Dr. Gladon said. At least Ukrainian “NIBULON Ltd” is already heard in American agrarians midst. It’s the company which has become the serious player on the world grain market for some years. And Dr. Richard Gladon said that the support of social sphere by Alexey Vadaturskiy is “clever policy”. Dr. Michael Douglas Kenealy promised to tell much interesting American colleague-agrarians about “NIBULON Ltd”. And maybe in closed future Mykolaiv Company will have new transoceanic partners. Dr. Michael Douglas Kenealy said that new visit to Ukraine within the University program will be in three years. “We showed Americans our transshipment terminal with the greatest pleasure. We are not shamed to live in Ukraine. We are Ukrainian national company that has built this unique complex,” – Alexey Vadaturskiy added. “Let them know that Ukraine is the civilized country, and “NIBULON Ltd” is the real competitor on the world grain market.”Visiting Mykolaiv school №57 Excursion at the Transshipment Terminal of “NIBULON.
