Heavy multiwheel artillery of “NIBULON”

One of the key aspects and factors of successful implementation of the patriotic investment project of “NIBULON” is the improvement of the logistic component in the sphere of transportations, including land-based transportations. Thus, given the situation in the Ukrainian railway, management of “NIBULON” decided to redirect some transportations from the railway to automotive transport – by expanding its own truck fleet. The truck fleet currently consists of 36 foreign cars – 16 «DAF» trucks (the Netherlands), 15 – «MAN» (Germany), 5 – «Scania» (Sweden). Additionally 32 trucks are purchased – 2 «DAF» trucks, 15 – «MAN», 15 – «Scania». They will run Ukraine with “NIBULON’s” trademark, transporting grain in 30 aluminum «BODEX» semi-trailers and 2 – «SCHMITZ», which are also purchased. Currently the company has purchased 10 trucks of «MAN» brand, and 10 «BODEX» semi-trailers. The rest of the equipment will arrive in early February 2012. For information. “NIBULON” will develop its own railway transportations. Specifically, grain cars (20 units) will be developed and purchased for the company in 2012. Reorientation on grain transportation by the enlarged truck fleet has significant economic benefits: 1. Improvement of the vertical integration according to a “field-port” scheme will take place – the company regulates the quality of agricultural products at all stages of their movement, if necessary, increasing transportation load. In particular, using own truck trains will give an opportunity to form grain batch clearly and maintain appropriate market standards on the way from a manufacturer to a vessel loading. 2. The increasing of truck fleet will allow bringing the company’s services to a larger number of producers and add transportation load, thus providing more efficient delivery and increasing products purchase prices for its manufacturers. 3. Truck fleet of the company consists of 86 units and will be able to transfer almost 2 000 tons of grain simultaneously. 4. Trucks combined with semi-trailers will be used to transport farm machinery of the company in different regions of Ukraine besides transportation of grain products. 5. 32 new trucks mean a minimum of 64 new work places (with personnel selection on a competitive basis). 6. Crews of the trucks will consist of two drivers (as required by labor law) – thus, this will enable trucks to work around the clock, without idle time. One of the main criteria for choosing these trucks is economical efficiency and environmental friendliness of their engines. In particular, the engines meet the European standards of “Euro 3” and consume 15-20% of fuel less than similar in characteristics engines in “MAZ” and “KAMAZ” trucks. For reference. “Euro-3” is an environmental standard that adjusts the content of harmful substances in exhaust gases of vehicles with diesel and gasoline engines. The drivers will feel great advantages compared with trucks of other manufacturers. The trucks bought by “NIBULON” have improved comfort (large spacious cabin, two bunks, air conditioning, cruise control, etc.) and security (antilock brake system, stability control, anti-slip control etc.). Delivery of the new vehicles will be financed by structures of suppliers – leasing companies “ING Lease Ukraine LLC” (Ukraine) and “Scania Credit Ukraine” (Ukraine), which is another evidence of high authority of “NIBULON” in business circles.
