Grain Prices, Complex Pricing for Services and Export of Products: how the Second Meetup “Stronger Together” of NIBULON Went

The series of meetings initiated by NIBULON in April was initiated by Valerii Reutsoi, the director on operation of elevators. Valerii has worked for the company for more than 20 years, is thoroughly familiar with all internal mechanisms, has worked closely with our counterparties, so he knows first-hand what worries Ukrainian farmers. Having assumed a new position in February, Valerii is responsible for a wide range of issues, including the vector of grain storage development, the quality and conditions of grain storage, the company's entry into new regions. To achieve strategic goals, Valerii intends to actively communicate and personally contact farmers in order to understand the situation in each region and, based on the received feedback, offer farmers the best partnership conditions.”I am sure that as a result of such personal meetings with farmers, we will be able to clearly outline the ways of developing our further cooperation. Currently, NIBULON is studying the market and considering the option of complex prices for the services provision. We want to introduce an individual approach to each bailor, we will offer interesting terms and tariffs that will depend on the volume and type of products, in order that our partnership will be fruitful and mutually beneficial for both parties,” said Valerii Reutsoi. At the beginning of the meeting, Yuliia Murachova, head of the commercial department of NIBULON, showed by specific examples how the war affected the export volumes and logistics costs of NIBULON, presented the company's response strategy to the challenges of wartime and plans for the further development of NIBULON, in particular shared the new transshipment terminal in Izmail work results. Together with the participants of the meeting, Yuliia also discussed the dynamics of prices for wheat, corn and soybeans and world production.Oleksandra Kuznietsova, head of the operational sector of the procurement department, presented to procurement future innovations in the work with counterparties, in particular she informed about the implementation of electronic document management “Ari Ptah” and creation of the mobile application – farmer profile. Farmers found this news incredibly commendable, as it significantly simplifies and speeds up the signing of contracts and accompanying documents for both parties. The second part of the meetup was devoted to the discussion of the most urgent issues for farmers, namely: grain prices, export opportunities and ways of selling products through river and seaports, the work of grain corridors, this year's sowing and harvesting campaign. The meeting was attended by private entrepreneurs from the Mykolaiv region, representatives of farms, private agricultural companies, state-owned enterprises, and agricultural limited companies.Valerii Reutsoi, director on operation of elevators:”In general, the meeting took place in a very constructive way. During the dialogue, together with our long-standing and potential partners, we discussed a number of current challenges to which we will respond quickly. An open, honest dialogue is important for us. We want to know what worries our partners, what they expect from us, what suits them in cooperation with NIBULON, and what mechanisms we need to improve. I am deeply convinced that in the course of such meetings, together with the farmers, we will find a constructive solution to all current issues. The next meetings will be held in May at the Bessarabska, Skorokhodivska, Hlobynska, Marianivska and Ternivska branches. So, I invite everyone who cares to join!”Vasyl Kem, Veselinivska MTS LLC:”I have been working with NIBULON for quite a long time. I was acquainted with Oleksii Opanasovych, with whom we started working together. Previously, every year we shipped up to 4 thousand tons of grain to the Prybuzhanivska branch, and we plan to continue working with NIBULON and overcome all difficulties together. I wish the company active development!”
