Personnel training is an obligatory and mutually beneficial process for NIBULON and its specialists. Gaining experience in Ukraine and abroad, the staff has an opportunity to improve skills, to work better and the company creates its own team of highly qualified specialists, improves its reputation due. Within such a corporative standard, from November 12 to 19, 2012, a group of NIBULON’s workers visited NUSEED. The Ukrainian specialists were invited by the management of NUSEED taking into account peculiarities of agricultural market, including NIBULON’s leading positions in the domestic agricultural sector. We would remind you that on August 13, 2012 General Director of NIBULON Oleksiy Vadaturskyy with participation of Deputy Director for Production Kostyantyn Khmelnytskyy negotiated with NUSEED representatives who visited our company within their official visit to Ukraine. The group included: Andriy Syrovatko, deputy general director in Lugansk and Kharkiv regions; Kateryna Koval’s’ka, head of the sales department; Yakiv Pinchuk, head of the production department; Oleksandr Tereschenko, RE “Lidiyivs’ke” director; Volodymyr Berdyk, “Snigurivs’ka” branch director; Mykola Bezkorovaynyy, “Svativs’ka” branch director; Volodymyr Golub, “Bilovods’ka” branch chief agronomist. The aim of their visit was to improve skills in cultivation and processing of sorghum, and also to conclude agreements for purchase of sorghum hybrids directly from producers. During their visit to the USA, NIBULON’s specialists visited NUSEED office (Chicago city, Illinois) where they met with the director Andy Thomas. By the way, the company was established in 2002 and is engaged in growth of sorghum, spring rape, sunflower. The main seed importers are the USA, Australia, and South America. Ukraine gradually joins this group. In Amarillo city (Texas) NIBULON’s specialists visited Richardson–Seeds (a breeding and technological base of NUFARM) engaged in production of sorghum seed. It has 30 sorts of sorghum, its seed is sold to 50 countries of the world, including Ukraine (under Raelin trademark). In Fargo (North Dakota) NIBULON’s specialists familiarized themselves with the activity and production process of SEED-2000 company, a breeding and technological base of NUFARM. Being engaged in seed breeding, the Americans try to increase a crop yield, to achieve seed tolerance to herbicides, to increase percentage of oil content. Becoming familiar with the production base of the U.S. companies, our specialists have studied the process of parent strains creation and also the processes of cleaning, calibration, pickling, packing of products. They also had an opportunity to watch the process of carrying out laboratory analyses (both internal and state ones) during seed production. According to the U.S. specialists, the professional level of NIBULON’s personnel corresponds to the level of foreign specialists and in certain cases it is even higher. NIBULON is not inferior to American companies in the level of labour organization, technological equipping of production processes, etc. At present NUFARM corporation and NUSEED only start to discover European markets. But the high quality of their seed (including sorghum and sunflower) has already shown the latter to good advantage in the world market. Today Ukraine is a part of the most desirable seed importers, including NIBULON, a leader of the domestic agricultural sector. According to NIBULON’s management, the first step to establish into cooperation with foreign suppliers will be test purchases of the U.S. seed hybrids and further sowing of demonstration fields, including different thickness of sowing.
